Headphones/Earbuds Discussion

Well, you guys know how it is; as they always do, my earbuds broke again. http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-X10i-Audi … psch+image (got them for Christmas a while ago, sound fantastic, but really bad build-quality: already had to replace them once from the warranty) Just wondering if anyone here has any suggestions for some new ones with good build and sound quality. I'm fine with earbuds or over-the-ear headphones, as long as they're durable and don't leak out too much sound. Probably wouldn't want to spend more than $100. I was starting to look into Bluetooth headphones, since they would eliminate the pesky wires that always seem to be the problem, but I'm not sure if they would be able to pair with my TV. Not to mention I don't really how Bluetooth even works. What do you guys think?

Really, though, I don't know much about headphones, unfortunately, but apparently you shouldn't get Beats because they're not very good, and people just buy them for the brand name. tongue

Haha, that guy deserved it.

And no, definitely not paying 200 bucks for a name.

My headphones are corsair vengeance 1500, and they project the sound into my ears nicely. My dad gave them to me for my birthday last year since my old headphones had broke tongue They can become a tad uncomfortable though as they are quite big and heavy

Yeah I was looking at a couple Sennheisers. Seems like they're a good brand. That ones a bit pricey for me though. I'm considering these from Sennheiser: http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-100-II … iser+px100

Yeah, they look nice, but a bit bulky. I have a really small head, so I probably wouldn't want something that big, haha.

Re: Headphones/Earbuds Discussion

I gave up a long time ago using earbuds. Regardless of price, they are far too
fragile and so they always seem to break. They're a waste of money in my
opinion. I have some Sony studio headphones for road trips.

Re: Headphones/Earbuds Discussion

I just hate how earbuds always fall out of my ears. It's the worst! tongue Maybe I'd listen to music more often if I had some of those over-the-ear ones.

Re: Headphones/Earbuds Discussion

NOOOO those are horrible

They fall out of my ear regardless, and are hard to get into my ear in the first place, and if you put them in wrong, they don't sound right, and if you put them in right, they don't sound right, and within 10 minutes of buying them, the right ear will go out.

Re: Headphones/Earbuds Discussion

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I decided against buying expensive earbuds. They just break too often. Though if anyone is looking for some cheap earbuds that last (relatively), I recommend the brand Meelectronics. I bought a $18 pair last year, and they lasted me about a year. I can't say I've ever had a problem with earbuds falling out of my ears though. They usually come with a bunch of different rubbery covers, and I can usually get at least one of them to work.

I actually decided on a pair of over-the-ear headphones from Meelectronics: http://www.meelec.com/Atlas_Headphones_ … or-mee.htm They apparently sound really good and I can also buy a replacement wire if it decides to give out on me. Plus they were at Best Buy, which I had a discount code from when I bought my Wii U.
