What level is most memorable?

I'm sure we have a lot of favorite level topics already, but what level do you remember most when you think of this game? Might be a favorite, might be one you hated.

For me I think it would have to be the Artisans Home, just because of how much time I spent in it. I remember when I would watch my brother play this game, and he was scared to leave the first homeworld because you (basically) couldn't die. He ended up with 99 lives from killing the Gnorcs over and over again before he finally moved on to other worlds. tongue

Ooooo...oooo, this is a tough one. I haven't played the game in ages, but I remember the Peacekeeper levels very, VERY vividly.

Re: What level is most memorable?

I can't remember the name, but when I think of Spyro 1, I always remember the level with the rams in artisians world smile ^.^ I used to play demo of Spyro the dragon and there were only two levels opened and this was one of them :3 I always did crazy stuff as a kid there, trying to get up to the wall using the tiny waterfalls which make you roll (there was one where you could somehow jump while rolling or something like that) or trying to fly over the forcefield (I've never made it tongue) and of course chasing the thief! And I hated those herdsmen!
Also, there used to be my favourite music - credits in the demo in the level.

i remember the Artisans homeworld the most. i'm not sure why, it just sticks out at me for some reason. probably because it's the first level you play in the game

Artisans Home, Dark Hollow... Magic Crafters Home too. It has that really nice, unique Spyro feel to it.

Re: What level is most memorable?

Dark passage is what I always remember the most, probably because it had some epic rock tunage and interesting enemies to defeat.

Re: What level is most memorable?

Omg! I can't even put one above all the others. I loved Misty bog and Beast makers for the creepyness, treetops for the fastpaced gameplay, Peace makers for the weapons, Dream weavers for the ray gun, twilight harbour and the speedways for the insane difficulty, Lofty castle/Haunted towers for the atmosphere and missions, etc. I can see why this game is love so much. I guess if I had to choose, I'd take tree tops, its so iconic.

Re: What level is most memorable?

Oh wow. It's really difficult to choose. I LOVE the Dream Weavers worlds though. I liked rescuing the fairies in Lofty Castle, but I also love the atmosphere and music of Dark Passage. Hmmm... I love Ice Cavern too... GAH! It's too hard. I love them all!

Re: What level is most memorable?

Hmm... interesting question, having just started playing this again, obviously the current most memorable levels are the first ones since I just played them, however, I do remember some. Were the levels with the little mini-games (i.e. hockey) in the first or second game? I honestly can't remember but I do remember those mini games very fondly. I think my most hated levels were the flight levels, by the time I'd get the hang of the controls, I'd run out of time, or be drowning tongue

Re: What level is most memorable?

I remember every level like the back of my own hand. I don't have a favorite level because I like all of them the same. (Including Tree Tops, for some reason I'm good at Tree Tops.)

Re: What level is most memorable?

That's kinda difficult... but I would say Tree Tops, the atmosphere and my first game over made the level quite memorable for me. tongue

Re: What level is most memorable?

That level inside the dragon head in the artisan world. I always wondered what it was when i played the demo. The red skies and stuff always left an impact when i tried it out. I think it was in the demo atleast.
