Re: DDR?
Thsi is the hardest song I can pass. yes, the drumming noise is the feet moving. This video is not me.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bp_MAnvA6SE I can get a B.
EDIT: Here is my score on a level higher than that video.
I'm on the left.

Re: DDR?
Xepher is a fun song ecpessially on challenge. I like the songs Max 300, Healing D Vision, Chaos, Fascination, and fascination Maxx from SuperNOVA. All 10s on Expert...
DON'T USE THE CONTROLLER!! *spazzes* -__- Work on the pad, and you will get better!! sorry for the spazz...x3
My asthma would never let me get better with the pad. I've tried. I only did Xepher on difficult and by the time I was done with that one song I could bearly breath and I couldn't move for the last 20 minutes of lunch. IT WAS ONLY DIFFICULT! Not expert not challenge DIFFICULT! It doesn't get any lamer than that.
I know I would get better with the pads If I practiced, that's a given. I just don't have the lungs for it.

Ž · Almost the same situation here. I have the speed, but for every song, I just get tired immediately and need to get a 5 minute break everytime!

Oh and Zekira, don't feel bad about getting tired, I'm in really good shape from various things. My sister calls me scary that I can do fascination Maxx twice in a row on Heavy. xP

Re: DDR?
Ž · ...just like how weird I can do badminton without water for 90 minutes but can't jog for more than 6 minutes without water and suspension time? Heh. Even something as simple as Dam Dariram KCP Mix (old song, heh) gets me tired while inbetween the song!

I usually gets most tired when I'm in the arcade because it's a lot warmer than our cold basement.

LOL. That's okay.
I'll still try to do it without the controller but it will always be my backup. As of now all I use DDR for at my house is nice music to listen to. ![]()

Re: DDR?
Oh, yeah, DDR music is good to listen to sometimes. I sometimes play on the controller when I'm really tired. But if I'm playing someone online I don't. it annoys me when people online are perfectly capable of doing a hard song, and they use the controller do they can win. T_T

Re: DDR?
That would be annoying. The controller is considerably easier. for some people anyway.
Anyway my favorite song to listen to is Paranoia.

Re: DDR?
Yes, Fascination Maxx is the hardest song in the history of DDR. (and I passed on oni once! w00t!!) heh...

Tis quite annoying :-P I don't really think about the sound of the song unless it's unbearably annoying. I usually play for the challenge, and for fun. Example: FAXX is a really stupid sounding song, yet I do it anyway. Another...Love Shine is a really easy and is not great, but I do it anyway, cause I ;like all the jumping. xD
I could rant about DDR forever!! yay me! :3

Re: DDR?
Ž · ...just like DDR4th Mix's Leading Cyber in Maniac mode that the buttons don't ever synchronize with the music (seriously, it's *bleep* irritating) but I just want to do it and get a D (WTF!), and Hypnotic Crisis that has a specific beat but is also not in synchro with the music and I just do it to get a C (at least, heh)...

Re: DDR?
I know Leading Cyber, I used to think it was really hard...(back in the Konamix days xD) I can get through it now easily, but I know what you mean about the steps not being syncronized at all. Have you heard of the song Bag? I tried it at an arcade once, it was a very slow song with tons of 16th beat arrows. (HARD)

Re: DDR?
Ž · Nope, haven't heard of it yet... 16th beat is the yellow ones, right? Or the blue ones? (darn, don't remember my Stepmania editting skills anymore
)

I don't really pay attention to the colors...don't they all change color, but just at different times? I don't really pay attention...

Re: DDR?
Ž · In Song Editting mode (or something like that)(Edit Mode in DDR4th Mix), when you make a song, the beats are seperated into different color arrows... if I can remember from StepMania, it was Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple (in that order)...? All I remember is DDR4th Mix had Red(8th?), Blue(16th?), and Yellow(32nd?).

Re: DDR?
In edit mode the arrows are this: (in order) Blue, Red, Yellow. I'm not sure of Stepmania though.
