Yeah, that song is hard. I think my best grade on expert was a B. Fascination Maxx is harder though.

Re: DDR?

Well, the fast BPM songs are tough to get used to. That one goes up to 400 BPM I think. I'd say to practice try turning the Boost option on some slower songs to get used to the speed.

Re: DDR?

I haven't played DDR in forever, but is AAing L'Amour et liberte and Xenon on the arcade machine decent at least? I don't know what most people's skill levels are now. Everyone I've known are way better than me and "upgraded" to the much harder ITG series.

That isn't bad. Heavy level right?

Right now I have passed every single DDR song I have played on Heavy. (Not on the first time obviously). The Challenge steps on the newer SuperNOVA and X games are very tough. Like Fascination Maxx, Fascination, Trigger, and Chaos.  I am constantly getting better, so I'm hoping that I can keep improving on my scores.

Re: DDR?

Hey, just thought I might revive this thread.

I now have proof that I can actually play DDR =P :

Grade: B Score: 871,880
Should have put my grade on this one. It turned out to be an A in the end. Score: About 900,000

I've only heard of Cartoon Heroes out of those songs. Do you have the US version?

Re: DDR?

She might be talking about the arcade. Bumblebee I think is a song by Bambee from 4th mix, and Dragonfly is by BeForU from 6th mix (DDR MAX).

You're probably right. I'm not so good with past DDR titles and arcade because when I first got DDR, DDR Extreme had just come out.

Yeah, we spent a good amount of money on that pad. The arrows are all cracked (though you can't see it in the video). It still works fine though, except that you need to elevate the control box on something or the left arrow won't work. :\ Me and Stormy also had the idea of making a bar for it so we could do songs like Fascination Maxx easier. I've improved on those songs a ton since we got that.

lolz, thanks. I've had those shoes for about a year. =p

Well, I live in cold Minnesota, and play in my basement, so I start out playing with jeans, and usually am too lazy to put on shorts afterward.  XD

Re: DDR?

Actually, I see the cracks now that you've pointed them out. One of my arrow pads has a crack too. You can get individual arrow pad replacements at play-asia.com I think, but I'm too lazy to.
Also, how did you make the bar? Did you weld and bent a metal rod or something to that effect? I tried to use a chair or some other object in place with the bar, and it sucks even more, so I play without any support at home. I'd *bleep* the bar in the arcade when I could. (:

BTW, I have yet to actually complement you on your performance lol. It's really nice, since I can't play those songs for life. My stamina's too low. I probably don't practice enough. yikes

Our bar is actually really simple. We put the pad on a plywood board on the ground, and got some PVC pipe, and connected that to the board. It works surprisingly well.

Yeah, we used to buy replacement arrows, but we figured they're going to break again anyway, so why buy 4 for $16 each?

Thanks. (: I've put a lot of practice into it.

Re: DDR?

I never played DDR before... I never thought it would be a good game I like.

I think I will buy the next one that comes out.

A new game came out a couple weeks ago actually. Tenth anniversary game. You should really consider it.
