Dropping my 2cents in a second post.

I bought the new game and forced Walmart to refund me, which they kindly did even though it was store policy not too.

This game is a horrible flop.

First of all, it requires the servers to work 24/7. Meaning you are forced to play it online.

Second, the servers dont work right, and many are already massively bashing the Simcity Facebook page.

Third, Anonymous launched a DDOS attack on the EA websites as retaliation last night.

Glad i got a refund on this trash. Guess CitiesXL will hold me over until EA grows a brain.

I bought it yesterday and played the tutorial so far. Don't have an opinion about it yet, dont have enough hours in it.

Played more last night, its pretty fun. Can't wait to play multiplayer with some friends.

90% of people cant access the server. EA has truly done it this time.

The petition to ban always on DRM was started yesterday and is already at almost 52000 signatures.

The reason everyones ticked off is EA made this have always on DRM.
It would of been fine if they would of called it Simcity Online, but no.

See, i can see this becoming free to play in under a year to reduce the fallout.

No, its just a loyalty thing. Only people who bought the origin digital copy are entitled to get a free game with simcity.

I see, I prefer to get my games hard copy, I just prefer to have somthing "real"
