Re: Ps1 Games

I tried riding those maps in single and multiplayer mode and they have everything they should have... but quality of textures is decreased (it can be seen best on the portrait of komodo joe in dragon mines) I have the EU version.
I have just one Idea what can be the cause... rendering time in split screen is much higher, because it has to be rendered twice, so maybe they removed some objects in multiplayer, so it won't be so slow and maybe in newer versions they found some better solution.
btw Isn't Medievil that game where the main character is some skeleton fighting zombies and other beast? I think I played demo version.

I have EU version of CTR and it's platinum so I think it's quite "new".
And yes Medievil is the game where you play as the skeleton fighting with zombies and other beasts. I played the demo too when I was younger and it was very scary. But fun. Now it's not that scary. The game is quite difficult.

Maybe scratched disc... but mine is scratched a lot and it had never happened to me. (I even had to use clone cd to get backup to pc, because oter apps were unable to skip bad sectors)

I don't even play my original discs anymore; I use backups that I saved on my computer. If you're familiar with the swap trick and do that, you know what I'm talking about.

I also use backups only. I play all my psx games on ePSXe - it is more comfortable to just mount it into virtual CD-ROM. But I don't know what a swap trick is...

I use psX. Thing with ePSXe is the amount of fine tuning you have to do to play anything. psX is just download a BIOS file and your off.

Well, clearly you're not awesome enough. We all played on our consoles until they hit their play limits.

Also, you can record YouTube videos easier on the computer (or, at least, in my opinion, anyway).

Re: Ps1 Games

Been playing Metal Gear Solid lately.

Its pretty good actually. I actually like being sneaky for a change instead of just charging at enemies and mashing a button like most action games(GoW,KH, etc)

Crash Bandicoot 2 is better than first one. I have played levels 1-6 and Ripper Roo. I haven't played the third yet. Have you completed Crash 2 100%? Those gem things are hard.

Of course I have completed smile. Some gem challenges are hard  - those with colored gems. Crash 3 has less secret areas, but I didn't complete it, beacause some time trials are just !@#$%. Btw if you need any help, just ask.

You mean the first MGS game? That is very good game, with a great sotryline. It has also some funny imperfections - I can remember one place where you can throw enemies over railing over and over and they keep coming and coming always the same way big_smile

You can use [] with very good timing, or just run straight, until they stop following you. It is easy to beat them on places where you can burrow underground - there they cannot hurt you and leaves after a while.
