PAX Prime 2011

Did anyone go to the gaming convention, PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington?

I actually live in Washington and Seattle is only about an hour from my home so a few months back I actually managed to to get a Sunday pass and I was somehow lucky enough to get a pass to Halo Fest as well. This was my first convention EVER and I am totally going back next year for the full three days. I loved it that much <3

I got to meet Notch, the creator of Minecraft and even got his signature on my pass. I played a good bit of demos, like The Darkness 2, Sonic Generations (both console and 3DS), Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and the remake of Ocarina of Time for the 3DS. I wanted to play Skyrim but the line was kinda big and most people were making their characters instead of actually playing the demo so, meh.

Bought tons of crap too >=D

I'm looking forward to having Minecraft come to the Xbox 360. It'll be
awesome to be able to build with my Xbox LIVE friends. And you got to meet
Notch? Lucky. Did you like his Swedish accent?

I LOVE his Swedish accent he is a really friendly guy. Some lucky person won his hat too.

unfortunately yes, there was so much more to do but I only had one day to do it. So I just focus on all the things I really wanted to see and buy. Otherwise I would have played a lot more because there is the time waiting in line plus playing the demo itself. And some demos are longer than others.

EDIT: I almost forgot I played a really awesome MMO called Rusty Hearts. You could even sign up for the beta there if you wanted to.

Oh and yeah I also forgot to mention at Halo Fest I saw the voice actors of Red vs. Blue and we got to see them do part of a new episode. I loved it <3 I really wanted to get their autographs but I wouldn't have had a chance to possibly win a raffle for something from Minecraft (which I didn't obviously) and I may have not seen Notch either. Maybe next year :'( Though next year they aren't going to have Halo Fest.
