Invader Zim

Who else here absolutely LOVES Invader Zim? It is my favorite cartoon EVER. The characters are so amazing, and the fact that the series was cancelled leaves it open to so much speculation about what happens next, and how relationships can develop. Most of the fanart is beautiful and the fanfiction can be very deep... I am a fanartist/writer myself and do my best to make people laugh and smile at my work.
Who else is inspired by it, or just enjoys watching it whenever they see it? smile

P.S. I'm a ZaDR shipper; what are you?

Ah, okay. big_smile I'll admit that I obsess over it... To the point that whenever I watch Megamind, I instantly think of Invader Zim. I can so see that happening. Like, Zim finally kills Dib and takes over Earth... then realizes he's bored with no one to fight.
...Then I want to write something like that. And then realize it's cliche and overdone. XD

I love Invader Zim. It's a shame it was canceled (Jhonen would have continued the series if he had the funds to do so and if he could put it on a network he could trust). I also really enjoyed one of Jhonen's graphic novels, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac which is far from being for children. I kinda liked Squee too.

And now I am reminded how I couldn't go to Invader Con they had back in March. I really wanted to see people like Richard Horvitz. oh well~

Oh man, I know. Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is an amazing comic, and I'm sad that I can't find Squee anywhere and read it too. I got to go to InvaderCON and it was a lot of fun. Richard and the other actors were great. Andy Berman (Dib's voice actor) even said, "I love you, Zim" at the request of one of the fans. I was so happy when I heard that. ^_^
But Richard started it during the Mopiness of Doom script reading by taking his Zim puppet and kissing Andy on the forehead with it... leading Andy to get his Dib puppet to make out with it. That was magical, and my one regret is that I didn't get there early enough to see it in person.
Sorry, I could go on and on... I have so many fond memories of that thing.

I actually saw the "I love you Zim" thing on youtube but I didn't see the other thing with the puppets though. oh dear XD I kinda felt bad that the fans made Andy say that though, you could tell he was kinda uncomfortable about it. I'm not a ZADR shipper but I do accept it since I'm used to that kind of stuff anyway.

@SapphireSheep He probably was a little uncomfortable, but I guess it's just a by product of dealing with fans... And nah, I don't want to buy anything. Thanks, though.
And @Clock-La I like Phineas and Ferb. Though Regular Show is pretty funny when you give it a chance. XD But yeah, most new shows suck. I want Invader Zim back with new episodes! 8D

i loved Invader Zim when it was on a channel i actually got. now it's on Nicktoons (i think?) and we don't get that channel anymore. real shame, it was awesome ^^

ah, but i don't watch much TV these days anymore, anyway. still...

I adore Invader Zim just like you, Spyro_For_Life. I have the 3 seasons in a DVD Box set, I also have some Invader Zim shirts and keychains. I wish they hadn't cancelled the show though.

You can still watch it on invaderzimepisodes.com. Or YouTube if you're willing to watch them upside-down, but they have every episode there. big_smile

Awesome. I wish I had the DVD Box set. All I have is the Operation Doom DVD. I have two t-shirts and a plush piggy and a GIR-covered strap to go with it. Though I don't like GIR all that much; I think Zim himself is much cuter and funnier. I really, seriously hope Nickelodeon makes the right decision and brings it back. They know how much we want it. big_smile

Yes you need a subsicrtion. But you can get the unlimited straming plan on your game console. And pay 8 bucks a month in your game console or other devices.

Some people who go by Video Games Awesome just did a live stream episode of Minecraft and the theme was the future. There was all sorts of stuff and someone actually made Zim's house! It was really cool. It takes about a week before they put up their live stream videos so when the part with Zim's house comes out I'll post it on here C:

Oh wow, that sounds awesome. XD I love Zim's house. And when I'm writing fanfiction, it's a lot of fun with the elevators and different levels and stuff. I put his bedroom way down in the deepest levels.
...Don't ask why it's necessary to include where his bedroom is.
