I've tried seafood and it makes me barf. I've tried sushi and it makes me
want to cut my tongue off.

Thats the most horrible thing I've ever seen...how can you say that is artistic? It's strait up torture and nothing less, could you even imagine the pain? You onlly think it's ok because it's from Japan I bet you wouldent be saying that if it was from any other country...

Eh.... Since that "raid" I've been extremely suspicious about people secretly being trolls and just trying to cause trouble while appearing to be a respectable member of the community. And I don't see it. Not saying I'm an expert on trolls or anything, but I don't think riverhippo is one.

Serving animals alive is pretty cruel, I think; can't they at least kill the animal first to put it out of its suffering?

You obviously have little clue as to what trolling exactly is. Anyhow, I feel riverhippo has brought up an interesting point with the idea of sushi being an artistically interesting sort of food. Do any of you all have to like it? No. But why are we suddenly moving away from talking about fish being put in little baggies, which is not only wrong but stupid and a waste of much needed resources and suddenly talking about sushi? Just to throw this out there, I remember watching a guy on some Japanese show turn a living frog inside out and eat it's heart whilst it was still beating. I threw up afterward.
