Re: Final Exams
I have no idea what i got on my finals. And really i don't care. Finals seem to be less important in the U.S then it is in other countries. And since were on the topic of school. School started for me back on the 22nd.
Argh. Stop generalizing the US as having a single school system. Each state is different.
For example, in New York, if you fail your final you don't pass. However, as long as you pass the final, you are set (so you technically don't have to do any other work other than the final).

Re: Final Exams
I think it actually can depend more on the schools and teachers than the state, even. At the public high school I went to, some classes didn't even have finals. Most of them did, but it was different for each class how much of your grade they would be. It was never more than 30%, though.

At my high school none of the classes had finals, so that was hard getting used to in college. I've heard of other Wisconsin schools that do have finals though, so my experience definitely supports this.
