Final Exams

The point of this thread is pretty much just so I can rant, but you all can post in it too. XD

So yeah, I had my last final today, in computer organization. It sucked. I studied for hours the night before and even got some extra help from the professor with stuff I didn't understand, and then, just like every test in that *bleep* class, I got to the test and had no idea what to do. Before this test I was 0.6 percentage points away from the grade I need to meet the prerequisites for other classes in my major, and I was hoping this final would bring it up, but that's looking pretty impossible right now. Now I'm probably going to have to retake the class. >.< And I can't even go home yet because I still have to clear out my room and write down some BS about the "cosmic significance" (I kid you not; that's what it says on the syllabus) of a volunteer program I didn't want to do in the first place. [/whine]

So... have you all had any final exams yet or have any coming up?

Thursday is my Composition II final. A bunch of multiple-choice, then a 2
page essay will be done for the exam.

Saturday is my 0302 Algebra exam. I have positive feeling about that one.

In my school we have something called a CRISP policy. Basically, if you have a 90% average or higher along with teacher approval, then you automatically get a 100% on the final (except AP classes)

I only need to take 1 final this year!

I got an AP Statistics test tomorrow, then four exams on Thursday and Friday.

My high school was similar to that. The difference is that you simply didn't
have to take the final exam. Both ways are nice to have.

I was in the exact same boat as Stormy, as in same classes and finals and everything, and I can confirm how much it sucked. I am so glad it's summer, but at the same time I'm super worried.

Considering your grammar on the forum, you're probably going to fail anyway, so there's no need to worry about that.

Just wait until she gets to Composition I and II. I just got finished with my
Comp II course, I did almost 10 essays by the end of the course.

System? More like systems.

Our school systems are run on the state level, not the federal. Each state makes its own laws and requirements for their schools.

I'm sure everyone needs to take an essay-related course sooner or later in
college. And the "I wrote circa 10 essays" part was just me saying what I did.

I use word check for them tongue my spelling just Sucks full stop iN primary they naver did mutch about spelling untill It was way to late by the time they started we were leaving for high school and were used to "Spell how it sounds" hmm Our school was'nt very good XD

BUMP!!!

Just got GCSE results yesterday

thankfully i passed all but two and im going to collage big_smile

what did I fail?

Food tech, i did'nt like it, so i lost intrst and grades fell, but I got a D wich im happy about.
and Product design, I got an E but mah never thought i'd do well in that.

4 A*s in English, Maths, Core science and Additional science.
5 As in English Lit., Statistics, IT, Latin, and History.
2 Bs in Drama and German.

Plus an extra qualification I got an A in. I think that's the highest grade for that qualification, but I have to check somewhere.

So yeah, basically I am a god. I'm going to call a remark on my History as well, because I only missed the A* by a single mark.

tongue mah im happy with what I got, best I got was B in sciance the 4th award and a B in history tongue and a Merit in art witch is the equivilent of a B
