Quitting?
So today actually maybe not to long ago a good friend of mine took me aside and told me to give up on a girl who I really like. She likes me back but is to nervous to say it or ask me out. It was hard but I did.
Anyway has anyone here had to quit on something they really wanted or anything in general?

Re: Quitting?
You let her go because she wouldent ask you out? Why didn't you ask her out? Thats pretty weak.

Agreed. Besides, sexist traditions mean that actually you are supposed to ask her out. Especially if you're pretty sure she likes you. Do it, or regret it forever.

Re: Quitting?
I'm not going to call you "weak" for doing that, no. I will say though:
If you want a girl, get ready to fight for her. Not a literal, physical fight,
but you have to try hard to get her. Only God knows if you'll end up
having a happy marriage with her. Also remember to date a person for
her personality, not her body. It's better to live your life happily with a
dedicated wife than to have a "sexy" wife who is abusive.
