Now I know there are a lot of Justin Biber haters here on the fourms. But please let's try not to gang up on the poor kid and just leave him be.

Lately all I have been hearing about is Selena Gomez Justin's girlfriend getting death threats. Really fans these days my gosh. I think that is a been out there and a little imature for them doing that. Sorry this was just brought to my attention. Poor things.

Lots of crazy, infatuated teenage girls will threaten to stab anyone who so much as looks at their 'sweetheart'. It doesn't suprise me; I'm a Take That fan (English boyband who are now more of a man-band) and back when they were first forming they had the same type of treatment.

I really don't understand why Justin Bieber gets all the hate that he does. Coming from most people, the taunts make about as much sense as fifteen year old making fun of Barney: it's not supposed to appeal to him because he's not the target audience, so it just comes off as childish. Plus with every other person on the internet saying he's a girl or he's gay or whatever, he's pretty much the easiest target out there. It's not funny anymore, guys. tongue

BUT ANYWAY, this doesn't really surprise me. I've seen girls go crazy over celebrities before; this isn't really all that different. I doubt any of them actually want her to die, and I doubt any of them really think they'd have a chance with him if she was out of the way. Or maybe they're really that crazy, who knows. I was never one to have crushes on celebrities. *shrug*

I'm with Edwin. His music videos can be added as a valid example.

be followed, but seen as an example of what not to be. Biebs can be used

There is not one celebrity out there in the world who I look up to. Well,

OK, one, I'm pretty sure people aren't making fun of him because he sets a negative example. Look at all the other celebrities who do much worse than Bieber who are idolized. Bieber is criticized for having a high voice and for being "gay," not for anything he promotes in his music.

Two, what "negative acts" are we talking about here? His music and videos seem pretty innocent from what I've seen, especially, again, compared to other celebrities'. They're shallow, yeah, but that wasn't a crime last time I checked.

I think you might be misreading what Aceedwin meant. If Bieber is a sex idol, he didn't get that way by doing anything negative or inappropriate. He got that way because preteen girls think he's attractive and his music sounds good.

I'm saying that a combination of pressure from his manager and clients, and his own wish for fame has given him this status, as a sex idol, and now he has to live with the consequences. That means that his obsessive female fans will bay for the blood of anyone he ever tries to maintain a relationship with. Because they cannot handle their own obsession.

Bieber turned up on some celebrity show over her in the UK. It was ridiculous, there were about 40 teenage girls screaming their heads off outside. Eventually, talk turned to whether he would ever get himself a girlfriend. He asked the crowd what they thought and, unsurprisingly, the answer was a great wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Anyway, my point is that Bieber is most likely partially responsible for getting into this situation. He may have been pressured, but I find it difficult to believe that he was forced to be a sex idol. I'm pretty sure he chose it. Now, I bet his movie won't talk about that sort of thing.

I do wonder whether some Bieber-haters are just jealous of all the attention he gets.
