Pokémon Creepypastas

Has anybody read any of the Pokémon creepypastas that are about? I've only discovered them recently but some don't half make you wonder about the Pokémon and games. Here are some links for some of the best ones (in my opinion). I do not own any of these.

Lost Silver. This contains a bit of swearing, but is otherwise one of the most famous Creepypastas - and one of the best.

This is a YouTube video of Lost Silver is game form - someone made it available to play on the computer.

This one is about Pokémon Black version - and not the one that is soon to be released.

This is known as Skulls of the Pyre. It's quite unheard of but very creepy - and about how Duskull evolves.

Lastly, this is Hypno's Lullaby - a poem about Hypno leading children away into the woods. Short but excellent.

Tell me what you think, and post any other good ones if you've ready any not mentioned here. smile

Re: Pokémon Creepypastas

I love these stories. Most of them are obviously fake but I find it fun to read them. Pokemon Black version was always my fav

Re: Pokémon Creepypastas

Ah, Lost Silver is my favourite. Just the idea of getting an old game like that...the Unknown spelling stuff out and the TURN BACK NOW sign.
Even little details like how when Pikachu uses Frustration it nearly kills you. O_o It's very creepy even if they're fake.

It makes you realise that they could have made Pokémon so much cooler and less kiddy if they wanted. Maybe in five or ten years they'll just revamp the whole thing into something darker and more hardcore. XD

Which one did you read? XD

Re: Pokémon Creepypastas

Well they took a tiny step in making Pokemon more mature by making them teenagers in Black and White.

Yeah, they've realised that the majority of their fans who played the games right back when Red and Blue first came out are now approaching late teens.

If you want to see what Pokemon would be like if it was serious check out this guys "Pokemon Evo" art and descriptions: http://joshd1000.deviantart.com/  He makes them seem so realistic.

Re: Pokémon Creepypastas

I really like the Comatose Theory, and it got me interested in the show again.  Not really creepy, but it makes lots of sense.

The unskulled Cubone theory also makes sense.  Missingno evolves into Kangaskan, so it is reasonable to assume that the baby Kangaskan is Missingno.  Also, Kangaskan's body type is similar to Cubone and Marowak, so baby Kangaskan might be Cubone.

Re: Pokémon Creepypastas

I like the theory that Gengar is a corrupt Clefable, because someone noticed that their body shape was similar.

@Ontels: God, some of those designs are brilliant. yikes

That theory is interesting, but Gengar evolves from a vapor.

*gasp* I didn't notice that. And those are *bleep* good books. I just wish they had made all three into movies; the Golden Compass movie was okay, but the other two books would make for much better films.

I've not finished The Amber Spyglass yet - but I loved The Subtle Knife and thoroughly enjoyed most parts of Northern Lights. I want them to remake Northern Lights/The Golden Compass (I agree, it was an alright film, but it could've been better) and make the others - because they could be brilliant. There was a lot of fuss about the books being against the Church though, so I doubt it's going to happen. sad

What I jut read is a waste of time. I dislike Pokemon hacks, they're not even cool. It's sad.
And what I don't understand most, is why its called creepypasta. It has nothing to do with pasta!!

Just, ugh...

They're not real hacks, they're just ideas. The Pokémon Black one isn't real, it's just written as though it is, LostSilver was hacked after the story was written and Skulls of the Pyre is taken seriously.

This one is brilliant. It's not creepy, as such, but it's very clever. Just remember to read the last line - I didn't when I first read it, so I didn't get it! It's great though, and called A History of the World.
