Worst Injuries you've ever had?

I'm sure this was here ages ago, lol. But I can't bothered right now to find it..
Anyways, my worst injury? I fell off a f*cking pony and fractured the last vertebrae at the base of my spine. Yup. And to add an even worse injury to it, I also shifted the same vertebrae forward 8 millimeters from my pelvis.
So yeah, I think I did pretty well there.

I've had a vast amount of injuries over the years. Dislocation, slipped disc, pinched nerve, lacerations and hyper-extensions. Most of them from playing football...but amazingly....no broken bones....so I'm proud of that for now. I get some kind if injury daily I suspect.

I had two injuries in the past

I got an concussion injury in October, 2007 (around the time TLoS TEN was released), and I broke my right calf bone in August, 2009.

Landed flat footed on my left leg and locked my knee after jumping four steps in a park. Tibial plateau, the bone your knee rests on shattered, and my tibia fractured downward and split the bone like a banana. 3 surgeries, 50 stitches, a metal plate 6 inches long, a staph infection, a few vicoden prescriptions, and 6 months of physical rehab.

I've not had all that many injuries, and I've never broken a bone, but there was the time when I was riding my bike down a very steep street and I was going so fast that when I only pressed the front break (like a moron) the back wheel flipped up so I fell off the seat onto my arm and then the bike landed on me...

I still can't understand to this day how I got out of that without even a fracture. hmm

I've done that in grass before.

I rode up onto a flat piece of grassy land in front of someone's lawn, then
there was a small [but steep] swoop down onto a lower flat piece of
grassy land in the next house's lawn. I was riding ~8 MPH.

Right when I saw the drop in front of me, I hit my front brake and the bike
leaned forward. I flew off and slid belly side down into the lower land. My
bike's front tire hit right behind me and the bike bounced a couple of
centimeters over me before hitting the ground directly in front of me.

I was feeling quite calm when all of this was happening, and I simply got
up and rode away.

I have never broken a single bone not even a sprain XD I'm counting my blessings because no one is that lucky forever. I always try to stay on the safe side though.

There's a bone right behind your ankle [the long skinny bone] that you
can break without even knowing. The reason why you don't feel pain when
it's broken is because you don't put any weight on it, so it simply heals
over time.

I have a permanent injury in my left knee from a wrestling match I had about 8 or 9 years ago. It never healed.

Well, I've had an infection on the palm of my left hand, a blot clot in the left side of my head, broke my right arm, but the worst was when I tripped down stairs and my feet turned a full 90-degree angle. Had to have screws put in my feet and they were turned over the course of the months.

I have got minor injuries nothing to bad. I will always stay on the safe side.

I've never had anything too bad. I sprained my ankle once when my friend fell on top of me on the playground. It just healed by itself. And at work last year I burned my right arm on the grill.

...Yer...well I am accident prone..if someone is going to get hurt, it is usually me! =p I tend to find wierd ways of hurting myself, not to seriouse 'most' the time!!! anywho one time i broke my arm......want to know how? rolling over the safety rail of my bunk bed!!! xp could see myself falling aswell,was very slow. another time i tripped over thin air and decided to see if i could fly and if gravity was still working....well the gravity worked fine because i face planted concrete and smashed up my face and had vampire teeth. Another time i was just climbing over a bar wire fence as per usual and slipped, being stuck standing on the fence with bar wire in my leg through my jeans (thank god i couldnt not see it) was afraid i was just going to have to rip my leg away....but once on the right angle the wire slipped outta my leg and blood poured out =p

Worst that's ever happened to me was when I was cutting chocolate and accidentally cut a bit of the tip of my finger off. It was a long time ago and has since healed. Other than that I've never really gotten any real injuries.

Wow Lambda, that sounds pretty bad, how did you react after you realised what you'd done?

As for me I can count myself lucky that I've never broken any bones, sprained, dislocated, or torn muscles. However I do tend to get lots of cuts from glass (managed to put my hand through a window when I was younger, which cut the artery on my wrist - I've got my sister to thank for having the good sense to tell me to put it under cold water), I've burned myself a fair few times (only once where I needed to go to hospital though), and I've got a 30 cm scar on my right arm from falling off a climbing frame when I was younger.

Well, I don't think you know how horrifying it is to know that someone that you've been riding tore a a ligament in their brain and has temporary memory loss

If I remember correctly, I think I screamed. tongue There were adults present and they bandaged me up right away.
