Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning Question

Ok everyone, I had a question pertaining to Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning. I'm sorry if people think the questions stupid, but I am entitled to ask questions. Does anyone know how and why Spyro is strong enough to beat Cynder in the game? I mean I always thought it's because he's noble and goodhearted, maybe I'm wrong. Could people just provide their opinions so I can see where I differ.

He supposedly the special purple dragon that beats anything....
And can shoot little hims out his mouth to do it...

It was because she had dropped the power of Malefor (what is was officialy called I cannot remeber from a year and a half ago) and Spyro picked it up and used it against her. She was als less powerful. Any cinimatic thing now days has to unrealistic and most of the characters are hardly fleshed out. It's unfourtunate really, but I have seen very few that were actually payed attention to recently. I wish they would pay more attention to that, eventually it will not be expcted to have them fleshed out. (books, video games, movies (use generalizations and stoc characters)
