Anybody here use Sony Vegas?

I have Sony Vegas Pro 9 and I like to use the Masking Generator but it always makes the clip go black and white which is annoying.
Does anybody know how to use it but keep the clip in colour?

Hmm.
I THINK I had a problem with this once.
But I don't remember for sure.
I have Sony Pro 8, but there's not really any differences...
You might have something checked that you didn't think was checked, or maybe it's just a glitch.
Altogether, you might just wanna get Pro 8. I've heard many people say it works better and it's less glitchy.

olo, you use Vegas Pro 9. I'm sticking to 8 because its better. Emphasize more on your problem and maybe we can help.

I can't find anyway to change the settings for it, I've tried reinstalling it too.

I can't really be bothered to get Pro 8 as I don't really have any problems with pro 9 apart from this one thing an must be some way to change it.

I'm not sure there's anything more I can say about it, the Masking Generator effect just drains the clip of colour which it isn't supposed to.

Maybe you shouldn't use the Mask Generator.

Go render a clip with it and see what happens.

i use sony vegus pro 9.0 and i think i had this happen too
either render it and see what happens or copy it all in to a new project

Once My laptop comes back from the shop which will be a while longer i will get it on there. But other then that i havent used it ever in my life.
