People have been predicting the end of the world for centuries. There are hundreds of dates that were predicted.

The movie wasn't bad, the effects were really well done. I drove past a few areas where they filmed it a few days ago.

If the mayans are "soooo gooood" at predicting things then why didn't they predict the end of their own civilization eh? Also its a lot of *bleep* about the 2012 stuff. The calender ends, and so it will repeat it's cycle ... just like our calender. When the months run out we dont go crazy saying the world will end; we simply continue on smile

Anyway the only reason people belive the world will end because the Maynes predicted the The rise of Hitler, the start of WW1, 9/11 and when the spainish would come...

Now thats all happend but it is the complete unknown anything could happend... I'm going to take my chances...

Well I typed in "Maynes and pridiction of Hitler" and nothingh came up to do with them saying "A bad man will rise germany out from the ashes."

I watched a show once before about some guy who apparently predicted all these events... But then that's just a show. I don't know how much of that is truth. >.>

You might want to write something in response to the quotes instead of just quotes. Keep that in mind.
