The blind dragon

" He's going be born soon... I can't wait to see his face when pokes out of that shell!", a voice shreaked with excitement.

"We must wait paciently, dear. He might be a little shy", another one said, but in a deep tone like a male dragon. Others were giggling in the background. It sounded like children. He heard so many noises around him. Loud, quiet, strange. The world sounds really amazing to his ears.

" Look! He's breaking through!". The hatchling's eye was peeking through the shell, getting a glimpes of the outside world. A small white dragon spots him from a close distance " Mommy, look! He's looking at us!".

"What?! Oh my! Dear, we're finally going to see him!', said the mother dragon. His head cracks through, showing silver horns that was on top of his head. His eyes were a cloud blue,  the color blindness, and his scales were black with little thick hairs on them. The young white dragon had a discusting look on her face " Mommy! He don't look like us! He's weird looking!". The mother and father dragon smiled.

"No he's not. He's just a little different......I'll call him pale eyes", said the mother dragon.

Re: The blind dragon

Sounds more interesting than most of the stuff around here.

It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living.

Re: The blind dragon

13 years have past and Pale Eyes was turning into a teenager. He was sitting on small rock, hearing the children below him playing. Of course he couldn't see them, but he knew they were having fun. He heard the sound of his sister Parrifin saying "Tag! Your it". This caught Pale Eyes attention. He would to play this game called tag as long as it involves noise ". Hey can I play tag?,' yelled Pale Eyes, jumping down from the rock and walking to the children. They were dumbfounded by his apperance ". So, can I play?,' he asked with excitement on his face. Pariffin pushed him back.

" Pale Eyes, you can't play. Your blind", she said as the children in the background snickered.

"No, I can play, Pariffin. Theres more to this game than seeing."

A tall red dragon walks up to Pale Eyes. His name was rogue and he was Pariffin's boyfriend.

" Let the sap play, Parry. He'll learn his lesson."  To Pariffin, watching her blind brother play tag is total embarrassment ". Okay, Pale Eyes, your IT!", yelled rogue running with his girlfriend. The rest of the children scattered through the field, looking back with giggles.

The blind dragon closed his eyes and listen to the rythyms around him. Their vibrations of running perked up the hair on his skin, leaving as senser to locate anyone near by ". I found all of you..."
