Re: who thinks we have way too much free time?

Wow. You must be blind ...
Heheh.

Most people these days have lives that are full of stuff to do, whether it's
important or not. People's lives are just way too busy.

I wish I lived in the '50s, when people's lives weren't so busy, and there
was actually open land to live on. Not these modern-day Levit towns.

I have lots of things going on as most know, but I always manage to find time to keep an eye and make sure you guys don't burn the place down.

Re: who thinks we have way too much free time?

We would never burn down.... well.... um.... that was an accident come on that doesn't count does is? lol

Yeah.... I'm so busy you guys wouldn't know.... I only have about a half hour of free time everyday... and that I have to use to do Homework and write the fanfiction that now has about 7 or 8 serious hard core readers from over the summer that would like me to post every day like I did in the summer.... They understand though.... I hope.... lol

I'm playing soccer which has a 2 hour or more something everyday that's gone.... Fall Baseball shoots my Sundays after I watch the race that I recorded while playing.... Everysaturday we travel 2 hours or more away fro soccer games and every night I'm strapped with home work and I have to squeeqe in a round of Golf Every week sometime with my cousin (who is my age)

Buy the time I get everything I need to done my fanfiction is my first priority... then the forums..... I just finished a chapter a few minites ago... lol...

In my case that's by far a "no"

Re: who thinks we have way too much free time?

I know i don't. I have to do homework and when i'm not doing that, I'm doing chores. I'm lucky that I've been getting on often.

It is very sad to see what people's lives are becoming like these days.

I hardly have free time. That's a rare commodity...

Staying at the lab to 10pm on Friday is not free time.

Re: who thinks we have way too much free time?

My sister, Stephanie, is pretty blessed to have a bunch of time on her
hands. She has a small handful of classes [4 maybe] on Mon., Wed., and
friday. She has one class, Yoga, every Tues. and Thursday.

Lucky her. : (

Why do modern days have to be so filled with stuff to do? For most people.
It's insane.

Yes , the society of overwork...they need your brain , so they make you use it like crazy , and the free time is spend in activities who exaust the brain even MORE than it is already , TV and computer in head...

And when we know that we spend more than 900 hours at school by year in France , and we see that German are far better pupils than us with "only" 600 hours...overwork isn't a good solution as you can see , if we consider that we have the same brain...

I spent most of my free time (there's not a lot remaining maybe , about 900 hours of school plus homeworks means less free time) in video games (the only thing that was a passion to me and who made me forget all this work I have to do...) , and nothing else before , but I'm less and less addicted to video games , since I have less and less time to spend on them...Finally that's not so bad (even if I always think I will never find myself a work) but I still regret that I have no longer any motivation to do any sport.

Happily I discovered a great site about parody of video-games recently and some funny forums , and that's this way I become WAY more sympatic than before...but I'm still REALLY shy , too bad in this society of illusion and permanent brain-washing when you have to be noticed by everyone in the best way possible to shine.

And there are all these people who don't have any free time at all...after all everybody don't born free and equal in rights ; illusion is the key word in this society , just remember it.

(No , I'm not depressed , don't worry , I don't want to make more people suicide because of me...we have lived harder times , but it becomes way too complex now , how people can't become crazy ?? I'm asking that question to myself just about every day)

Re: who thinks we have way too much free time?

Agreed. I seem to not play video games as much as I used to, mainly
because of homework. I spend 1440 hours in school for each school year,
not including homework. and that's only the education portion of life.

I come on a few times everyday, whenever I get a considerable amount of free time. I visit SF every time I come on the internet, although I don't always post.

Ever since I started summer school [and now fall] I have had no free time. I do have a really long break today but even then I'm still doing homework. Except today.  smile

I have got time in the evening... I'm online almost every day, but since you all live on the other side of the world, you are never online when I am sad
