i don't even know lmao. one day i remember playing Spyro 2. i don't remember anything Spyro-related before that. and that was... somewhere between 1998 and 1999 i believe.

No clue really... I played it really close to when it started, I either started when Riptos Rage first came out, or when Spyro the Dragon had been out for a few months or almost a yearish. So 1998-2000. But I hardly played my sister did I was only like 4 :]

I remember seeing my cousin play the game on his PS1 (the large one) before Spyro switched companies. He had all 3. But I really wasn't into Spyro that much at the time to play them, since I was more into 2D Platformers than 3D Platformers (back then, I was more of a Racing/Sports gamer than a Platform gamer) at the time.

I think I started to pay more attention to Spyro when I saw that commercial for Enter the Dragonfly, I think, but didn't give Spyro full attention till late when A Hero's Tail was around (and close to Shadow Legacy's release date).

Sometime around early 2005 we got Enter the Dragonfly for NGC, and me and my brother LOVED it. I remember I used to tease him saying Bianca was "better" than Spyro because she had magic. lol. Then we bought A Hero's Tail in late 2005, and we REALLY liked that game. smile Then in 2007 I found this forum, and found about a New Beginning, and thought Cynder was the coolest dragon ever. So I joined. Then we got th eternal night, then I got DOtD for NDS.

I don't exactly remember the year or how old I was... It was probably around 1998 and I was about 5 or 6.

Aaaaaa i remember it as if it was yesterday..... I was going threw my brand new play station 1 with its demo disc. I saw this name of Spyro the Dragon, so i clicked on it and BAM i was amazed there was a game that you can play as a dragon. I was obsessed over it untill my mom rented it at the store she worked at when they used to lend out games.

I first heard about spyro the dragon when I was at a Target. they were running an advertisment on TEN, and I thought the game looked awesome.

so yea, I came a little late in the game, but I didn't get a ps 1 until I was twelve.

I first heard it...huh not really , but I think I saw it somewhere around 1999 or so (can't remember the date) , and I wanted to try this game (I had a new PS1 and searched for games) , and when I had the Spyro 3 (YotD) , I didn't let it until I finish it to the max , even if I didn't know what to do smile
nothing could stop me when I was younger in plateforms games (thanks to game systems like the SNES , I was fond of 2D plateformers) , so this one wasn't exception (even in 3D , I was the persistent guy , that's also plateform after all , and I finished Crash 3 in no time before (but not completely unlike Spyro 3 , who was so awesome to me...and even now it is)).
This games takes me one whole year to finish...
EDIt : it was in 2000-2001 , since the game wasn't even available before...

In 1999 we got a demo disc from Pizza Hut that had several games on it, including Spyro 2. It was awesome (the Skelos Badlands level) so we bought both games (only two at the time) and then sat back and watched my little brother laugh as he repeated ran Spyro into the water. XD

Errrrrr.....Cant remember what year, but I remember my friend telling me about Spyro. So I went home and bought Enter the Dragonfly online. After that I just started buying them all.

Oh man! I knew Spyro when me, my brothers, and my dad bought a PS1, Spyro and Tetris (Tetris Plus to be precise) back in 1999. I loved roaming over the lands and environments, collecting gems as a pastime to find additional goodies. Oh, what about Tetris Plus? I tried playing it, but when there's a level with the hanging spikes, I developed a phobia of Tetris! MAN! I had to lock the door and avoid hearing the crunching sounds! XD All I want is to play the Spyro game. *sigh* :3 I recently played the second game, and I want to replay the third one!

*whistles* Geeze, its been an age since I can remember. It feels like I knew Spyro all my life... Hmm I would have to say sometime between 1998 and early 1999. I remember playing the first Spyro game and was immediately hooked (along with the first Crash game).

I don't know if I bought, or I got for my B-day/Christmas present. Ever since then I wanted to play all the games, but sadly I stopped playing Spyro Games when ETD came out... at that time I knew that Spyro has run his course.

I think it was in 2002/2003. I and my brother played Spyro 2 at a friend's house. The levels I got to see were Summer Forest and Zephyr:)

I first found the Spyro series in 1998 when I was playing a demo of the first Spyro game, then in 2000 I got Spyro 2.
