I just got DOTD for Xbox 360 yesterday after waiting for almost a year to get it and I have to say... It OWNS!! Better than Ripto's Rage. JMHO

Flying when ever you want is long, long over due. I spend quite a bit of time just flying while looking for Meadow.

Yeah I spent loads of time flying while looking for Meadow too (partially because I hadn't a clue where he was... :-P). The flying was the best part.

Quick question on cheats.... Do they stay on full time while your playing, or just for one level? is there anyway to turn them off?

I think DotD just owns in the beginning..Once you finish it and play a few levels over again it gets a bit boring...

DotD is boring. They did a crappy job in overall development. It was ok the first couple times through but now the more I play it the more faults I see with it.

The story line and first playthrough OWN but the game has no replay value. they need to work on that if they make another game.

Well overall opinion of this game to me would be The legend of spyro dawn of the glitches.
I have played games for 17 years and this one takes the cake for having the most glitches / problems with it.

It's weird; for ages we were moaning about how ANB had little replay value and that we wanted to be able to choose the levels and when we finally got in in DotD we're moaning even more, lol.

I think TEN had the best replay value. Dark Spyro = pwn.

Even though I haven't played it, I'll still get it, nobody else tells me how good a game is, 'I' decided whether a game is good or not. Everybody told me Hellgate: London sucked, but I liked it. BioShock has glitches and it got the Game of the Year award. Although the only compaint I have about it is the fact that it's quite short. The reasons why I want to get the entire Spyro collection is this.

1: The end credit song is awesome(For DoTD, not to sure about the others).

2: I love dragons

3: My attitude is f**k it! It's Spyro he rocks!

Depends on the kind of fan you are. Those who don't care what Spyro turns out like and love the games regardless, or those who are more critical and demand that a great deal of effort and production go into making Spyro appreciated by the entire gaming community as a whole.

I don't know...it's great for TLoS fans, but Spyro has NEVER flown, except in speedways. Spyro flying is like somebody painting Spyro blue and going, 'Yay! New Spyro!' And the Spyro creatures were never really true to their species anyway. I mean, in the original series dragons stood on two legs. And fauns had pink animal noses. And Bentley looks more like a bear than a yeti.

I played DOTD on the DS. D@mn it's tricky, but not because the enemies are tough, it's because of those stiff controls. I want to see what it's like on the Wii(it's the only console I own).
