I know... it's just like last year in June, it rained this much then as well.

1. Forget another "Talk About Anything" type thread. They always get locked. Unless we can keep away from breaking the rules, we can keep one going for 2,000 posts and more. But apparently, we fail at that. So it won't work again.
2. It should be called "Talk About Anything." This isn't a term to be taken
literally, as some chosen topics are to not be discussed in the forum. But
the original name was that, and someone else changed it to "General
Discussion." It would be good to stay with the primary topic name. Also,
this whole section is called General Chat, so it seems a bit dull.
3. Sorry, I've just ran out of patience for this kind of thread. I'm pure sick
of them being locked. I was really looking forward to it reaching 2,000 or
greater. I thought we could do it without breaking the rules.

I'm sorry, but really, the only rule that was broken was that there couldn't be arguments or "debates" as some referred it to. And really, A Guy skipped over that post. He didn't see it; ergo it was an accident. And not for nothing, but just because something unfortunate happened in the past, that doesn't mean it'll happen again (referring to your statement "So it won't work again").

I'll be okay with this, but you need to lay the hammer down on the rules
in the opening post [a.k.a. the first post]. Let people know that no crap
will be tolerated. This won't last long if we've got dumbies coming in here
and ruining it for us.

I had my prom last month. I was raining then too. We had a limo and champaign! We just had a couple of photos and then ran indoors. Hope the weather is OK for you. Have you got your tux?! big_smile I had a black dress.
