I don't really think they'd make one of JUST cynder. But maybe. It would be super weird. A spyro game without spyro.

Well, if the game was made for Cynder's side of ANB and TEN, then we'll obviously see Spyro. Probably as a boss first, and later appears in cutscenes.

Spyro as a boss would be awesome.....Just imagine, it'd be like the exact same fight as at the end of ANB, except your against Spyro this time. Although in the final battle, I doubt they'd let you fly around and breath fire while Spyro runs helplessly...That'd be unfair :-P
Anyway, I guess Spyro fans might get mad they can't play as spyro, but that's why it's called a "spin-off" right?

Yeah, but Spyro will beat ANB Cynder anyways when he unleashes his Dragon Fury on her in Convexity. Afterwards, you get to play as TEN Cynder and see her side of the story between ANB and TEN, and during the TEN story.

im acctualy imageing the fight scean to be kinda like Metal Gear Solid. The first one for those who know most of the games. Cynder would be like snake refuseing to shoot the Sting missle launcher, in other words attack Spyro, and the dark thing inside her is telling her almost forceing her to attack spyro like Gray Fox.

Perhaps, and this is only an idea, there can be two ways from fighting spyro in the game, on the one hand, you dont fight spyro, and its a cut scence of cynder and spyro fighting, or mabye the game can go off on another storyline where cynder kills spyro, (i know people might not like this, but im tihnking about what if? sort of thing), and we will see how the storyline continues from there.

here's an idea: what if the game follows the same base idea as that "princess peach" game? you know, the "big hero"(spyro) is in a coma/crystal/has been captured/ect., and it is up to cynder to save him. along the way, you could control her destiny, and by your choices either make her good or evil.

just a thought.

No way, I hope their won't be another "Legend of" game ever, it has completly ruined Spyro, the only "half decent" one is DOTD, I just think that the developers should remake Spyro 1, 2 and 3.

Yeah, just one game would be pretty cool. Think about Secret Agent Clank. Clank is a very popular character in the Ratchet and Clank series, but they still only made just one game. Just one. That's all that they need to do if they do it at all is make one game about Cynder's past.

I believe it would be quite interesting to see, like some have mentioned, a game or games to do with what we didn't see happening other than what was outlined during cutscenes, i.e the time when Cynder was being controlled, then either a cutscene or even a battle like the convexity one in ANB, and either later in the same game or in the next, a section to do with what happened after Cynder left and up until the end of TEN; throughout the game(s) thoughts or even past-tense narration from Cynder's point of view would be featured. I think the right amount of games for the series, if it does come out, would be either one, or two. The titles would or wouldn't have the 'Legend of:' start but could have something like 'The other side of:' (Followed by the corresponding- ANB, TEN, etc), or something else, even.

Though it probably WOULD cause more of an uproar in the Cynder fanbase and definitely a large uproar within the Spyro fanbase, it would still be interesting to see. I don't think the gameplay would matter QUITE as much as the storyline, but it would be quite nice to see a few improvements from LOS (not saying that I don't like LOS, it's just lacking a bit). Such as: more cheats than just Health or Magic turned infinite, Achievements to unlock, different characters playable or new levels, or even areas of some levels that weren't seen. Also, it would be nice to see more collectables than what TEN's relics were: Gems, runes, stones, armor, weapons, or even abilities or their upgrades. Multiplayer could be a nice feature as well as non-linear, free-play modes for exploration or re-playing missions, even.

Graphics-- they shouldn't be too overdone, but not cheezy or low-quality. I'd really like to see large, expansive, less 'get from here to there'-ish levels. I'm pretty sure DotD has levels similar to this, but I don't know; I'll find out when I obtain the game and play. (Yes, I'm that behind. I've seen some of the game on YT but have forgotten about much of it.) Either way, The game should allow both for storyline progression and just messing around while you're at it. Not to forget, there should be at least a few minigames, such as finding and collecting certain items within a time limit, or getting a certain score at something.

I've pretty much drained my poor mind of ideas in one post, or about all of my ideas anyways, so I guess I'll hit 'submit' before my hands fall off.

If I make any kind of mistakes or typos, or sound confusing, smack me with a waffle iron; I'll try and solve the error(s).

...Argh.

I agree with the idea of the story of a 'Legend of Cynder' game to be Cynder's side of ANB and TEN. You can play as her adult form from ANB until the storyline ended, and then play as her little form in TEN until its storyline ended.

What about when she meets Malefor's other pupput, Gaul? He appears to be the one that took her from what I can tell. There's a backstory there... so why not dig into that? Maybe she comes across Malefor before his exile.

Come to think of it, dragons do physcially age slowly, right? You can't tell if a young dragon is about 70 years or not by sight.
