The Legend of Spyro: Rivals

Well I'm back on DA now so here is the next chapter... sorry for the long wait ^^"

Chapter 19:
Finally…:

Weeks passed and finally after a month, something happened.
Spyro walked into their room and saw Cynder cuddling up with something.
“Cynder?” he asked confused.
Cynder looked at him and smiled.
She lifted one of her wings that she used to hide something.
Spyro’s eyes widened as he saw a black egg with yellow dots on it.
After some time he asked:
“Is that…?” Cynder giggled because of his silence and nodded to his question.
“Yes it is our child Spyro.” Spyro kept looking at the egg while he walked closer towards his mate and gave her a kiss on the lips.
“Finally we have our own child.” Said Spyro proud and stroked the egg carefully with his paw.
“I can’t wait to see it hatch” said Cynder excited.
“I know what you mean.” Sighed Spyro. “We just have to wait.” He said and kissed his love again.

A few days later at the demon’s hideout Damien could walk and fight again.
“Finally…” Said NightShade annoyed.
“Shut up!” hissed Damien angry. “Have you done anything?” he asked.
“I actually have… I have spied on the temple… Cynder have been gravide and she laid her egg a few days ago.” said NightShade.
“A egg you say… we could use that for something.” Said Damien with a evil smile on his face.
“No let us leave their child alone.” said NightShade.
Damien looked weird on him. “Why?”
“It doesn’t matter… the only thing I want is to fight Spyro… there is something he have that I want.” said NightShade.
“And that is?” Asked Damien confused.
“It is none of your business.”
“Okay fine I also don’t care.” said Damien.
“Anyway when do we attack?”
“Tomorrow.” said Damien with an evil smile.
`If it just will work…´ thought NightShade.

Chapter 20:
Argon’s curse:

The next day Argon, Frost, Night and Carol went to the dojo.
“And what are we doing here again?” asked Frost a little confused.
“We haven’t trained for over a month now… I thought we might refresh our training before we start again tomorrow.” Said Argon and looked at Night.
“Oh you want a fight?” said Night with a grin on his face.
“Sure why-“ But then was there something there hit Argon in his head. He growled painfully and fell to the ground.
“Argon what’s wrong?” asked Frost worried.
“Looks like Damien already started it…” said a voice though the dojo.
“Who’s there!?” said Night and looked around to try to find where the voice came from.
From a shadow behind them rose a black dragon with blue eyes and scares.
Night’s eyes widened when he saw who it was.
“Happy to see me… son!” said NightShade with a grin on his face.
“’Son’? what does he mean with that?” asked Carol confused.
“Because… he is my father… he was the one there *bleep*ed my mother” said Night angrily.
“Oh yeah… Krystal was a nice dragoness… did she ever tell you that she was corrupted by my dark powers while we did ‘it’” said NightShade with a big evil smile.
“Your *bleep*!” yelled Night and ran towards his father angrily.
“Fool…” said NightShade and dodged his attack and strike him hard on his side with his leg so hard he flew to the other side on the dojo and hit the wall hard.
“*Sigh* I’m disappointed that my only son is so weak.” Sighed NightShade and shook his head.
Carol ran to her boyfriend.

Frost looked at Argon as he yelled in pain.
“What have you done to him?” asked Frost with tears in her eyes.
“Oh that’s not me but Damien, you know that red demonic dragon… remember he got hit by one of his attacks?” said NightShade.
Frost thought back and remembered that Argon saved her from being hit by that demonic energy ball and her eyes widened.
“I can see you remember it… Damien cursed him and now do he use it.”
“Curse!? What will it do?” said Night, slowly getting up on his legs again thanks to the support of Carol.
“Looks like you will find out now… it’s good to see you again son but daddy has to go and beat the crap out of the purple dragon...so, bye.” Grinned NightShade and vanished in a shadow.

Argon still yelled and black clouds started to surround him and gave him a dark aura.
Some red marks appeared on his head and he started to grow larger.
Night felt better and looked in horror with the others as their friend started to enter a new form.
He was now the size of a full grown dragon but with a more evil look then he normally had, his eyes glowed red and was filled with rage.
Argon growled angrily as his transformation was done and he was in an evil form like Cynder had been while she was corrupted by Malefor.
“This can’t be good…” said Night and pepaired to fight his best friend.

Chapter 21:
Spyro vs. NightShade:

Spyro and Cynder knew what was going on and prepared for what they would meet.
A shadow appeared and up came NightShade with his normally evil smile.
“I found you Spyro” he said with a playful voice.
“Let us beat the crap out of this guy Spyro.” Said Cynder and faced the black dragon.
“I think you should think more of your child… I think that Damien will go after it.” Said NightShade and Cynder’s eyes widened.
“He wouldn’t dare to touch it” hissed Cynder.
“Cynder I can handle this guy, go out and protect the egg” said Spyro and stepped in front of Cynder.
Cynder thought about it and then walked next to Spyro.
“Be careful” she said and kissed his cheek before she left.

“So what do you want dark dragon?” asked Spyro and glared at the black dragon.
“I’m NightShade and I just have one single request.” He said and smiled.
“And that is?”
“To return to normal… this shadow curse is starting to get boring… It gives me power but what is power without a life? You are one of the strongest dragons in this realm but you also have a family.” said NightShade.
“And what does that have to do with me?” asked Spyro there was very confused of what NightShade said.
“Simple… I need your elemental powers to remove the curse.” He answered and smiled.
“Oh I see…” said Spyro and glared at the dragon.
“But it is just too bad that there is a HIGH chance for that you die when I take your powers… Oh by the way congratulations about your coming child… I have a son of my own there is one of your students.”
Spyro looked surprised at him “Who?”
“Night… but he saw me for the first time today… anyway shall we fight?” said NightShade and ran towards the purple dragon.

In the mean time have Cynder come to the room where the egg was and saw a demon dragon standing next to it.
She quickly struck the demon in the chest with her sharp tail blade and it yelled in pain before it died.
“Don’t you EVER dare to touch my child.” She hissed and looked at the unharmed egg.
"Phew I just made it…” she said but then heard a voice behind her.
“I will take the egg.” It was Damien.
Cynder turned around and recognized him “You’re that dragon Spyro fought last time.”
“Looks like you have a good memory.” He said and ran towards her.

Spyro dodged his fire tail and shot an earth bullet at him.
Before it hit him, NightShade vanished in a shadow and appeared behind the purple dragon.
“You missed.” He grinned and slashed him hard on his back with his claws.
Spyro yelled in pain and got on his knees and fought against the pain.
“Awww come on… I thought the purple dragon was strong but it just looked like he is just as weak as my son… too bad.” said NightShade teasingly.
Spyro got up and swung his tail at the black dragon but he vanished again and appeared behind Spyro but to his surprise Spyro knew he would do that and kept swinging his tail and added some earth energy to make the hit stronger.
NightShade flew into the wall with a loud crash.
“You said?” said Spyro with a grin on his face.
NightShade removed the stones on him and looked at the purple dragon.
“Now that was better… just too bad for you that I don’t have any bones you can break.” ginned NightShade.
“You are a monster.”
“I know and that is what I’m trying to get off me… to be normal and live happily with a family… even that my only son hates me.”
“For an evil dragon do you sound nice…” said Spyro confused of this weird dragon.
“Thanks… yeah I try to be more friendly but anyway dude I’m probably going to kill you and sorry about that… by the way I meet one of your old guardians… the green one.”
“Terrador!?”
“I didn’t know his name but yeah it was probably him and to give him a fair chance, I change into his age and-“
“Wait! You can change your age?” asked Spyro surprised to hear this.
“Oh yeah right now I’m about 18 years.” He grinned and now become he surrounded by black clouds but his glowing marks was still there and also his eye.
He started to grow until he was the same size as Spyro.
“And now am I at you age… 28 years old and my strongest form is 30.” He grinned.
“*bleep* this is going to be harder than I thought.” said Spyro

Chapter 22:
Cynder vs Damien

Cynder dodge Damiens deadly claws and slashed him in the side with her tail blade.
Damien yelled in pain but attacked quickly again with his claws.
She barely dodged it this time and felt a pain streaming though her arm as he made a big gash on it.
“Humph you better be careful.” grinned the red demonic dragon.
“I’m just protecting my child…” said Cynder and glared at him.
“I don’t know why but NightShade, the black dragon, didn’t want me to… take your child.”
Cynder looked oddly at him. “Why?”
“Humph..I don’t really know what there is wrong with him… but I don’t care because we can use that child for something… I have always wanted to get a young apprentice.” grinned Damien
Cynder got mad of what she heard, no one shall take her child from her so she spat venom at him but missed.
“So you still want to fight for it… okay then bring it on”

Meanwhile NightShade had knocked Spyro down.
“Come on… you and do better than that…” said the black dragon with a smile on his face.
Spyro got up slowly and stood on his legs. NightShade was surprised that he could still stand.
“I didn’t thought that there could be someone there was stronger than Malefor-“ Spyro was cut off when NightShade slammed his paw at his chest against a wall and pinned him there, his claws digging into his scales.
“Don’t say that name… Malefor kept us as prisoners and made us weak… he used us as slaves and when we get near him when we were out of power so we couldn’t even kill him.” said NightShade with an angry tone.
“Who are ‘we’?” asked Spyro and felt the pain but tried to ignore it.
“All in the dark realm… but you don’t have to worry… thanks to you the dark realm is free… luckily for you so is there only a few portals there will open… I know how to close them and trap the realm forever… but I wouldn’t tell you… right now let me take your powers.” He grinned and took his other paw at his head and a dark aura surrounded Spyro and he yelled in pain as he felt he got weaker and weaker.
NightShade now got some new marks on his left side but those were other colors.
They were: red, blue, yellow and green.
After some time did he stopped and Spyro fell to the ground lifeless.
“Too bad that he died of it… *sigh* his child will now be raised without a father…” he sighed and was about to walk away but then a beam of convexity hit him on the back.

Chapter 23:
NightShade vs. Damien

Argon was attacking his friends with rage and anger as he blasted his shadow balls and beams at them.
They managed to dodge many of them but they felt tried and couldn’t hold it up much longer.
“*bleep* it he is too strong” said Night.
Argon had got some few cuts from them but not as much as the others had got from him.
“Argon listen! Don’t hurt us we are your friends!” shorted Frost to get him to hear her.
But Argon didn’t listen to her and fired another powerful shadow ball towards them and they just managed to dodge it.

Meanwhile did NightShade came into the room where Damien and Cynder was fighting.
Cynder lied on the ground and looked that she was about to die but was still breathing.
“D… Don’t touch my child…” she said weakly and looked at the red demon dragon.
“Make me.” he grinned and walked towards the egg.
“Damien!” shorted NightShade.
Damien looked at him and noticed his new marks but didn’t care.
“Good you are here… did you kill him?” asked Damien and Cynder looked at the black dragon in horror.
“No I didn’t…” he said.
“WHAT!?” said Damien confused and annoyed.
Cynder sighed with relief but was also confused that he hadn’t killed him.
“I got what I needed from him… his powers… and I don’t kill an expectant father” said NightShade.
“What the heck is there wrong with you… you should kill the purple dragon” said Damien.
“And you shouldn’t do anything to there kid god *bleep* it!” said NightShade.
“Why are you doing this?” asked Cynder weakly to NightShade.
NightShade sighed and calmed down.
“I’m tried of this curse I have… all I want to is to live a normal life and hopefully with my only son” said NightShade and Cynder was surprised to hear an answer like that to a evil dragon.
“Are completely MAD! Don’t you want to take over this world!?” asked Damien there was still confused about NightShade’s actions.
“What is there about to take over a world if there isn’t anything to live for… what will you do when you have taken this world? Nothing right! You have then nothing to live for and I will not live a life like that” said NightShade.
“I have got enough of you” said Damien and strike towards NightShade and slashed his face while his claws glowed with a red aura.
NightShade screamed in pain as he felt the cut and his blue blood ran down his cheek.
“Hehe you know I’m the only one there knows your weakness… to concentrated an attack with a high level of my own aura energy… and everyone can do that” he said and then looked at the black dragoness.
“And now do you also know how to kill him” he grinned.
But then he screamed as NightShade gave him a shock from behind.
Damien backed off him and looked at him.
“What the hell was that?” he asked still feeling the pain.
“You idiot… haven’t you noticed my new marks? As I said have I got what I wanted from the purple dragon… his powers… and you just got shocked by electricity” he grinned.
“It doesn’t matter… I can still kill you” said Damien and got into a fighting stance.
“You are my only problem left and I wouldn’t let you stop my plan” said NightShade and slammed his paw at the ground and a wave of earth made a powerful earthquake.

At the fight against Argon did they all feel the powerful earthquake and all, even Argon, fell on the ground.
“What the hell was that?” asked Night as the wave was over.
“I don’t know… but we have bigger problems then that…” said Carol and looked at Argon as he got on his feet again.
“I guess we just have to try to take him down” sighed Frost.
“Okay but not kill him… he are still in there somewhere” said Night and lunched towards Argon.
Argon hadn’t noticed him before it was too late and Night used his night aura slash to cut Argon’s face and he screamed in pain.
Carol flew to his side and breath a fire storm at him and Argon screamed more as it burned like hell.what she meant…

Chapter 24:
Singe the nurse

The black dragon started to wake up slowly, he heard some voices talking but it was all a blur.
“Tell me again why we are helping him?”
“¨*sigh* Because he saved me… I think he are getting on the good side…”
“And what about Spyro? He almost killed him”
“He had his reasons… and he didn’t kill him after all so I can forgive him for that”
“It isn’t nice to talk to a person behind his back” said NightShade there now was fully awake but his body still hurt a lot.
“Great now he's awake” said Night there started to walk away.
NightShade sighed and then looked around.
He was in a hospital of a kind.
“Where am I?” he asked.
“Lie still so I can heal you” said a white dragoness there stood next to him.
She had yellow wings, horns and eyes and a pink wing membrane.
“You are in the hospital… be happy that you are still alive after that battle with your friend” said Cynder.
She with the others had a lot of bandages around them and in the room was Cynder, Night, Carol, Frost and the nurse there was standing.
Argon and Spyro there still was in his dark form was lying on some other beds and they was still sleeping.
“HA he was not my friend… I used him to get this far…” said NightShade and would laugh but it would hurt to much so he didn’t.
“That’s just how you are right? You use others your *bleep*!” yelled Night and ran towards NightShade but got stopped by Carol.
“Cut it out Night!” she said and Night stopped but still glared at his father.

“So what will you do to me?” asked NightShade and was prepaired to get killed by there claws.
“We are letting you go…” said Cynder.
“What!? Why?” asked NightShade confused.
“You hurt Spyro but at least you saved me and more imported our child” she said and she was holding the egg close to her.
“I’m grateful for that you let me live…”
Night turned around and left the room.
“*Sigh* I just hoped I could live with my son… but he still hates me…” sighed Nightshade.
“What could you expect you *bleep*ed his mother” said Carol and also left the room.
“Just rest and you can leave us then” said Cynder and also left now.

Back was Argon and Spyro there was sleeping.
The nurse there tried her best to heal the black dragon.
And last NightShade there got a lot on his mind.
“Maybe should they just let me die…” he sighed shamefully for all that he had done.
“Don’t say that… I don’t know it all but maybe you can get it all good again” said the white dragoness.
“I’m trying but just by show up here made it all worse” he sighed deeply.
“And I can guess that Night is your son?” she asked.
“Yeah he is… but as you saw then do he hate me and wish that I was dead…”
“Try to give him some time and to talk to him sometime”
“Yeah maybe…”
“Don’t worry I know you will get though him sometime” she said and smiled.
“Thanks miss… I didn’t get your name”
“It’s Singe”
“Well thanks Singe…”
“Now you should get some rest you just awoke form a weeks sleep” she said.
“A week!?” he said with wide eyes.
“Yeah a whole week but it looks like you need it… you will be able to walk again after some few days”
“Well okay… thanks again” he smiled and closed his eyes to get some sleep.

Impressive, it's a very long story but I love it! only 4 things. the part where nightshade fought spyro, he said dude. that just weird, and they way you made him talk was a little weird. also the whole age power thing, whats up with that, yet it reminds me of bleach somehow. Very strange character. Anothering thing, poeple don't fall in love that quick, but they are dragons and it is your story so...... also many speeling errors, please be more crareful on future stories. speaking of more stories you better make more!!!! but this far, it'd siprise me if you didn't! I mean 24 chapters, that's just amazing. plz tell me you uploaded this all to a deviant art page? If so I'm so gonna watch you! Your stories rock, so life like!

ps, can i book mark this page for future refrence or to see if there are any new ones? they don't have a bookmark thing do they?

Chapter 25:
Spyro and Argon awakes.

“Will he be okay Singe?” asked Cynder there stood next to Spyro.
“Well… I have healed all his wounds all we have to do is to wait to he awake” said the white dragoness.
“But what have cursed him to be so… dark?” asked Singe confused why Spyro was in his dark form.
NightShade heard them and answered:
“Simple… I have his powers and so can he only use convexity… without that would he be dead when I took his elements” explained NightShade.
“Oh I see… how long shall you use them?” asked Singe.
“Um… that is a detail I haven’t thought of… I don’t know if he will get them back after I’m done” he said.
“But what shall you use them for?” asked Cynder curious.
“To do a long story short… I want to be normal and only with his elements can I remove this curse I have” he explained.
“Oh your cursed?” asked Singe surprised.
“Yeah sadly I am” sighed NightShade.
“We sadly all are cursed somehow” said a voice between Cynder and Singe.
“Spyro!” shorted Cynder and hugged the dark dragon tightly.
“Whoa! Cynder I’m alright… but why am I like this?” he asked and looked at his dark form.

After some time did Cynder and NightShade explain what happened to Spyro and Singe did also listen.
“So that demon is dead… and you have my element powers to remove your curse” said Spyro.
“Yeah that’s the story” said NightShade.

“Oww my head” said a voice on another bed.
“Argon your also awake” said Cynder.
“I will see to him and you go and get Frost” said Singe and Cynder agreed with her and ran to find her.
“How are you Argon?” asked Singe.
“My head hurts a lot… and what happened? I can’t remember anything” he said
“Oh I can tell you it” said NightShade and explained what happened and he just got done with it all when Frost entered the room.
“ARGON!” she shorted and hugged him very tightly.
“F-Frost… I… can’t breath…”
Frost let go of him and blushed. “I’m sorry”
“It’s alright… and I’m sorry what I did to you” he said and hung his head.
“It’s okay Argon… it wasn’t you that did it” said Frost and kissed him.
“I’m sorry but may I broke the moment?” asked NightShade and they all looked at him.
“You are normal now but I can still sense that dark from in you….” he said.
“So he can turn evil again?” asked Frost with fear.
“Only if someone knows to unlock it… but right now can’t it happen unless he do it himself” explained NightShade.
“Myself?” asked Argon confused.
“You could learn how to master that form and use it for good” said NightShade.
“Says an evil dragon like you” they all looked to see Night stood in the door.
“I hoped you was still sleeping” said night and passed by NightShade without looking at him.
NightShade didn’t want to start anything so he just kept quiet.
“Your alright Argon?” he asked.
“I’m fine Night… my head hurts but I’m fine”
“Good…”
“I’m sorry everybody but can you get out… I need space to see to them both” said Singe.
“Can I stay please? I want to be at his side” said Frost.
“Umm… okay you can stay but everyone else shall leave”
Spyro looked at Cynder there nodded as a sign for that she and the egg was alright and he sighed relived.

While Singe look at how Spyro had it then did Frost say to Argon:
“Argon… my answer is yes…”
He looked at her confused but then know what she meant.
“R-Really?”
“Yeah… it is soon but I think we can handle it… with our friends help” she said and they shared a kiss and then did she lie on her coming mates chest and listend to his heart beat and fall asleep

Chapter 26:
On a journey.

After a week was Argon and Spyro apple to walk and was feeling fine but NightShade still needed to be at the nurse so far.
Meanwhile was Spyro and Cynder discussing what they should do about him, could they trust him and would they make his plan go on?
Argon and Frost was gone to get some ‘alone time’ and Night was still mad that his father was still alive.

“So can you remove the curse with Spyro’s powers?” asked Singe there still took care of him. His fight with Damien was bloody and intense and he was seconds about to die but luckily choosed Cynder that he should live and she took him to Singe as fast as she could.
“There is a holy stone I have to see… the goddess in the stone shall I pay the elemental powers and so can she remove every kind of curses… as I have heard” he explained.
“I see… but it will take months before you can go with those wounds” said Singe and NightShade looked with wide eyes at her.
“I can’t wait THAT long…” he said and then got off the bed and walked towards the door.
“And where do you think you are going?” asked Singe.
“To the guardians… I shall talk with them” he said and walked away.

“But what if you can’t get your powers back?” asked Cynder worried to the dark purple dragon.
“I know… but I also understand his situation… he have seen the loneliness of greedy powers and he will change his life and I can’t say no to that” said Spyro.
“I know but-” Cynder then got interrupt when the door short open and NightShade walked inside.
“Shouldn’t you lie in the bed?” asked Spyro.
“I’m doing fine…” answered NightShade but had a little problems to walk on one of his hurted legs.
“What do you want NightShade?” asked Cynder.

NightShade then explained them about how he could get the curse off him and about the holy stone.
“So Spyro wouldn’t get his powers back when your done?” asked Cynder to be sure.
“Sadly not…” answered NightShade.
“I can take that price if it can save you NightShade” said Spyro and NightShade looked at him, no one have really done anything for him for many years so this was a surprise for him.
“Thank you Spyro… it is just sadly that your child will see you like that…”
“That’s right but if he or she see me like this from the start so it is just normal for him or her” said Spyro with a smile.
“Your right… well if it isn’t to too much troupe can I then take some of your students with me?” asked NightShade.
“Why?” asked Cynder.
“Well… I’m still in a bad shape and it is a very long journey so some company would be great” he said.
“Well I can’t say no to that… I will send some of my best students with you… oh it is alright if you son take with you?” asked Spyro.
NightShade looked at the ground and thought of it.
“I don’t think he wants to but yeah I would love that…” he answered.
“Don’t worry I will make him” giggled Cynder and talked with Spyro who should go with NightShade and then went out to get them.

“Oh Argon…” panted Frost while she lied on her bed with her new mate on her.
“That was… amazing…” said Argon there breathed heavily and lied next to her.
“You are sure about all this? With getting a child?” he asked.
“Well it is a little too late now isn’t it?” she giggled.
“Oh yeah my bad” he joked and they both laughed for a time but then did it knock on the door.
They got off each other while they blushed and then did Argon say: “Come in!”
The door opened and Cynder walked inside but she sensed the sweet scent of what they had done.
“You can’t hide anything from me… you just mated didn’t you?” said Cynder and looked at them.
Argon and Frost blushed deeply and looked at the ground and then laughed Cynder.
“There is nothing wrong about it… only maybe are you a little young but me and Spyro had plans to get a child at the same age so it is fine” she giggled.
Argon smiled a little and looked at his mentor.
“So why are you here? To catch us in mating?” he joked and Cynder laughed a little.
“No I’m not… NightShade looks for some there can go with him on his journey and I thought that you two can go with him… but now do I think that only Argon should go” said Cynder.
“Huh? Why only me?” asked Argon.
“Well… do you want to have Frost with you on a journey where she can be in trouble?” asked Cynder.
“I see what you mean now” said Argon sadly, he didn’t want to leave her and not more when she would maybe be gravid while they was gone.
“It’s okay Argon… I will wait for you” said Frost and nuzzled Argon’s cheek with hers.
“If your sure… but how many would we be?” asked Argon to Cynder.
“Well… so far it is you and Night…”
“What about Carol?” asked Frost.
“Well… let us say that I catched them too” giggled Cynder and Argon and frost blushed.
“but will you go Argon?” asked Cynder to be sure and Argon then looked at Frost there nodded and then back to Cynder.
“Yeah In will go with them” he answered.
`So Night and Carol will maybe get a child too…´ thought Frost for herself.
