My opinion of DOTD

Well, Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. What can i say? Even the title indicates awesomeness is to come. The storyline was great. Malefor was awesome. It also has some epic music. 2 player co-op gameplay is hard, but possible. I noticed that Cynder is better at climbing than Spyro, did you? Weird...

I disagree with you. This game sucked balls. If you call this game even OKAY then i declare you have no taste for games and that you know very little about them.

Yeah I'll agree with you on the fact that the storyline and soundtrack are very good, although there were a few plotholes, but I'm guessing they'll be filled in the next game.

No I didn't notice that Cynder was a better climber.... I'll keep my eye on that next time I play.

Dawn of the Dragon is an AWESOME game!!! in fact, DOTD is the reason I became a Spyro fan.

And it is completly true. I had to use Cynder to get the blue adamantium weights in places Spyro couldn't get to easily.

All the people who love DotD seem to be... uh.. "n00bs" (im not joking). One aspect of n00biness is that they have no knowledge of games in general and then they tend to fanboy bad games. This occurs because they havent probably played any really good games of that typical genre or because they only see Cynder having sex with Spyro in the cover and ignore everything else.

It was rushed even further since they switched from Krome (The Darkest Hour) to Etranges Libellules (Dawn of the Dragon) during mid-production. Hence the plotholes, the change in Malefor's plan, the inconsistency with Cynder's shackles and collar (they were gone in TEN, and just all of a sudden appeared while she was trapped in a crystal for three years? That defies logic)

Yes I'll agree that DotD did have lots of plotholes as I mentioned before. I hope they're cleared up in the next game.

They had a good writer... could have used better programers... I like DOTD as a movie... As a game it was below average.... for me all 3 of the games were more of movies anyhow...

But their writer was good.... In my opinion.. that's about all they had above average...

Did I sence flaming of opinion? lol (I hate the rules.. can't hardly say anything if translated literaly.)

DOTD is very good game. The movie is great. But I think that some elements were better in eternal night and I cant move camera on some places. I rate it 70/100 spyro

It's just overwhelmingly dull. I saw nothing to get excited over, but the cutscenes were amazing for how little sense they made.

I think that Krome was adding up for somthing way cooler but at the end they got sold out and the new guys just finished up and took all the glory for kromes original plot... I think the only reasone they did as well as they did is that they finnally added long wanted elements like free flight.
We or at least I , have wanted to see free flight sice Spyro the dragon #1
If krome had finished itself I think It would have been way differen't! wether it would have been better or worse .... I don't think we will ever know! hmm

Krome's prolly wouldn't have looked as good but the story would have been more solid I'm pretty sure. Who knows, doesn't matter now.

I honestly was expecting more. Sadly it wasnt the kinda world map i had hoped and a leveling system and i also kinda expected more armor and harder challenges. I also some wat expected quests not mission objectives in mini missions. i really wanted an "Full world map" kinda like WOW or something and maybe with an online feature to team up with other players. such as one plays spyro and one Cynder kinda like RE5.

Well EL didn't have much of a window to make the game. Krome was already pretty far into making the game when they got canned, unfortunately. So it's as if EL had to start over from scratch with a shorter time-frame due to Krome being dismissed. Had they stuck with Krome there might have been fewer glitches, plotholes, etc. since Krome had what they already worked on, plus the time that EL was given.

Well... I just had the feeling krome was gonna take the story SO much further!!! Well in the 2nd game they were talking about "the shattered vail"
and a bunch of other stuff... I feel like we missed out dude. :'(
