You could always copy and paste his male and female symbols into your messages, not a permanent solution but it lets you post your pokemon's genders here if that's your intention.

To answer your question from the Nostagia thread, Saphira, I'm not sure when the UK release date is, or the US date, for that matter! I just know that the movie and HG/SS are suppossed to come out in July, and come out in the US sometimes in the spring.

I'm not sure what's the length of time between US and UK release dates.

And I was grinning when I looked at the new picture of Lugia in the Whirl Islands...he looks like Aang at the beginning of Avatar when he's frozen in the iceberg!

*thinks* I wonder if Shiny Pokemon are Shiny when they follow you...I would guess so, because of the Pikachu-Colored Pichu and the Notched-Ear Pichu.

I'll probably get SS too as I love Lugia as well. I found a good thread somewhere from that site saying what legendary Pokemon are available on each game. I'll post the link if I find it again.

Also on there it said something about the release dates. In Japan it'll be out in autumn because they always get things first. (lucky lot...) But I think it said that I'll come to the US and Europe in 2010. So I'm guessing it'll be around springtime like you said Spynder, same as Platinum this year (which I STILL haven't got sad )

But like I said before I'll post the link if I find the page again.

I just got Platinum as I need a new game. So far so good, is all i can say, at the 2nd gym leader. big_smile still got good old Piplup as a starter.

I used to play pokemon ALL the time I was such an addict tongue So I went back to childhood w/ Platinum ahaha. It's really good. I don't remember my team I know I had.

Who's looking forward to the Gold and Silver re-makes? I am, since my Silver and Crystal games have gone faulty. sad

Oh I will get it with my birthday money, all being well. Struggling for team ideas though...

Anyway, I've started again on Firered and the team I will have in the future (i.e. when they've all evolved and when I've caught more) will be:

Venusaur
Butterfree
Flareon
Lapras
Nidoking
Fearow

Similar to my other team, I know, but I only started again so I could import some starters over to Pearl. :-P But I can't wait for my Spearow to evolve... she's rubbish...

I was a fanatic of this game when I was younger (I wasn't the only one...)
I prefer the older ones , maybe because of nostalgic...maybe because the new ones sucks a little , GBA and DS versions were so disappointing to me...
Here he comes my team I have today (I didn't play the game for a while so I don't remeber the exact levels...) on the crystal version (oh no , I will have to rechearch all their name in English !! Crappy , unless you want some French names smile ) :
-Typhlosion (same name in the two languages :-p ) about niv.73
-All the Blue-Red starters (I don't think I have to tell their name , huh ??? They are so famous) all about niv.63
-Tyranitar about niv.63
-one pokemon in training here , change everytime I play the game :-p

I was the strategic player ,even now I can beat the league of the most recent version with my really crappy team I have in the game (I have it , but I don't play it often...) who is under the 60 level...
here they come , for fun , laugh at them freely smile
-Machamp level 56 (the better of them , in offensive)
-Luxray niv.54 (I like those common and popular pokemons in this version don't I ??)
-Lucario niv.46 (isn't a surprise...execpte the level , for the league)
-Drifblim niv.32 (crappy level , with crappy attacks...)
-Wobbuffet niv.30 (a friend give me this one...crappy level again , but can One-Shoot the Alakazam in the victory road...only cheat :-p )
-another crappy pokemon level 26 :-p

I let you laugh loudly now , I beat the league with that team , but remember , I'm very far of a pro player , and they loose against that.
Shame on you diamond league , come back crytal league with you level.45 smile

Hey , your team is close to mine on general strengh , you have a better top level but some of the others are even weaker than mines XD
(and I don't know if the Platine league is better than diamond league so maybe they become better...but with their actuals tactics , they're not going far at all...)
Impressive time to finish it , I do 70 hours , maybe more or less , you're really fast for me o_O

I don't have any shiny , I even never see one of them , I haven't a lot of lucky in most games so pokemon is not an exception (and I definitely do not seach for them so...) , and my only pokemon level100 was in Red , I redid the entire game so I don't have him anymore hmm
