9. Sparx from Spyro series
8. Terrador from Legend of Spyro series
7. Sonic from Sonic series (duh)
6. Sims from Sims series
5. Spyro from Spyro series (obviously)
4. Tails from Sonic series (no flame wars)
3. Ember from Spyro series (don't EVEN ask)
2. Elora from Spyro series (duh AGAIN)
And here is the best,
1. Ratchet!!

Oh boy, this is a challenge, ok here I go. This is not favoritism by the way, I'm not going to post that Ruto is the best character from Zelda just because she's my favorite, I'm going to actually post who I think are the best videogame characters by how good they are at enhancing both videogame plots AND gameplay plus their memorability rate.

10) Baltheir. The essence of English-style cool.
9) Darth Vader. *cringes*
8) Roxas. He's blond and angsty. What more do you want?
7) Donald Duck. The freakish gargling noises are just brilliant.
6) Vincent Valentine. Has probably the most "Yup I'm awesome, sue me" moments.
5) Vexx. You don't know him. He wears make-up.
4) Cynder. I <3 vampiric dragonesses. *cringes again*
3) Sora. The goofy boots. The weapon that should be useless. The spaceship made from gelatin.
2) Spyro. Purple dragon. He was orignally planned to be green dontcha know. Grass made him invisible though so...
1) Cloud. OMGosh Da Cloud song.

Special mentions:

Flame: For being the most hyped character. Ever.
Sir Dan: For being the most ignored character who was good.
Sackboy: For good enough to make it in, but being customizable, and therefore excluded.
Pikachu: For being the cutest thing ever to grace this Earth.

8. Hawke (from Advance Wars) He killed off two top villains in the series, by betraying one of them and by destroying the life support of the other that betrayed him.
7. Tanya (from Command & Conquer)
6. The Arbiter (from Halo)

3. MegaMan.EXE (from MegaMan Battle Network) He's been in so many battles with viruses and evli Navis...

Fran. She's kinda cool, but to be honest, she hasn't captured the same sort of mystique say, Vincent Valentine obtained. I just like Baltheir because he's so like James Bond, has anyone else noticed? What I think is interesting is how we will all see each character differently depending on where we are in the storyline, and how we customize them.

Exactly! Vincent even got his own game. It's nowhere near s good as FFVII but it's not bad. Vincent is legend.

Vincent got his own game (which was complete garbage anyway) because he has fans constantly wetting their pants over his overdone-to-death vampire angst rouse. Also his design is terrible but what can I expect from the zipper/belt-obsessed Nomura.

Then again, I don't have much mercy for Final Fantasy characters in the first place.
