Because we have a goal, and that goal needs to be fulfilled. This goal varies from person to person. On one person, it may be to keep a loved one safe, on another, the goal may be to kill.

All human beings are put upon this earth with no objectives in mind to begin with. We were put here for reasons that we can't fully understand and life is simply what you make of it.

If you want to be depressed and have no aim in life then go ahead and do nothing and be miserable....wether you are content to do it or not. I for one was raised with the belief that I can accomplish anything in this life if I work hard for it...and you will reap the benefits once you have.

So I'll just be the best person I can be every day as to fulfill my quota of satisfaction...which is simply becoming the best I can and living a long life.

Sometimes our goal in life would be just to exist and help oher people through the course of your life, I was like-wise told all mmy life that If you work hard you can accomplish almost anything, but I also beleive some people may come to this world to help other's that without, would be sad and whatever...

If you truly want to help people out then do so...I for one will help anyone if they truly deserve to be helped...and if they deserve it. All I know is that I'm here to make the most of my life...and to be there for my friends and family as long as I can be. I'm not looking to change the world...I'm just looking to be the best I can be for not only myself but for everyone else.

*smiles* I respect that. Some poeple in this world just want to make other's miserable like bullies? I feel I'm here to help oter people....I like t help other people and almost no matter how annoying they are, or sped, I'll talk to them and listen to them. This girl Marina in the 6th grade at my school. EVERYONE hates her, She rides our bus lately and I;ve talked to her before, she just has an overreacting immagnation (She beleives she has a dragon and wants to be a wolf). I listen to her, and she gladly talks all the way until we get to school or her house, I don;t mind listening and she seems to enjoy having someone to talk too!

We live not to fufill some silly goal or to be the best we can be (thoue that is a good way to think). We are here to push our species forwards and survive so one day we will rule our planet. But since we have allready done that we need to go become the top on another planet and countinue on like this intill either.

1)We become extinct.

2)We rule the universe.

Well that's pretty vague thinking lol....if humanity decides to evolve at all...which will not happen in our lifetime....I expect humanity to be wiped out on this planet before we manage to live on another. That and yes...as already said that's still a goal.

I care not about the overall goals of Humanity...because nobody really knows that that is. What does it mean to be human? I believe that's pretty much different for everyone. Some humans are satisfied to act like complete morons their entire lives...while others strive to be the best they can be. We all have goals....and I don't see one overall goal for humanity in general.....seeing as how any overall goals pretty much end in either global amageddon...or just being satisfied to live.

I know my goals and that's all that matters to me. I could care less about everyone else unless you are someone I enjoy as a friend or companion.
