it is the oldest considering that it was the first (not in including christianity) religion that was found

1 people in power dont like each other and thus, war

2 the war is over recorces, whatever the agressor may want

3 the agressors are simply insane

Also there are religions that are based on violance roll

I'm a Cathloic and I think that the end times are comming. All of the ingredints are here, an abundence of sinfullness, war in the holy land, the Jewish temple soon to be built , and even an anti-christ( the Illumanti, freemassions, Skull and Bones group , Councli on Forgen Relations, Bohimian group and the Buildiburgs, all of which are demon worshiping secrect socities that control most of the world's governments and buisness and could very well rule the world.) On the brigther side of things I am tolerant of all religons so I wish not to offend anybody.

If the world survived the Cold War, which was the closest we ever got to total annihilation ever. Read about the Cuban Missile Crisis. You may learn something while between taking breaths between all your end of days babel. If the world beat Y2K, which would have been the ideal time for any Christian redeemer to appear, then we'll survive. I'm a Catholic myself, but I don't believe Christ will come to destroy the world in a ball 'o flame and justice.

What about the ancient religions that said there'd be a Ragnarok when Loki was released? Eh? As Christians, we know that to be gibberish, but of course we have to be correct, everyone else is ignorant. Christianity is not about the coming apocolypse. It's about loving and caring for one another. People lose track of what the hell their religion means, and the values it was formed on when they get their heads stuck in the end of days crap.

And as for the war in the Holy Land? The Holy Land is Jerusalem, you noob. God and his people have no place in Iraq or any other inkling of the former Persian Empire. The only Holy War that has existed has been the Crusades, and the world did not end during them. And don't waste your breath about the Muslim Ji-had. Jihad actually means peaceful disagreement - it is modern Jihadists who take it out of context to serve their own purposes.

A massive war predicting the end? The largest war of all time was World War II. The Jews - the people of Christ, were being exterminated by the millions. Burned and incinerated to ash. In total, 72 million people died in World War 2. But did Christ come and say, end this? No. The world is in quite a PEACEFUL state at the moment. Communism has fallen, now reduced to Cuba, China (which is a hybrid between Democracy and Communism), and North Korea. The amount of dictatorships are falling like dominos, and world peace has never been closer. There has never been a union of nations (the UN, NATO) in the history of mankind that's job is to protect and keep peace. Don't use the nuclear war threat, either. Nuclear shields are being designed - within twenty years max, all of Europe, Asia, and North America will be immune to any kind of Nuclear threat.

The Illuminati? Have you actually read about them, or do you just try to use the fear card to scare people into believing you? The Illuminati were scientists, men who did not listen to the church's version of god explaining everything. They chose science to explain. As a result, the Christian Church had many of them executed. The scientists went underground and formed a secret group to avoid being killed by the Christians. This group was called the Illuminati, the enlightened ones. The church made up lies to the public that the Illuminati worshipped Satan, and created made-up Satanic rituals that the scientists supposedly did to make the public hate and not believed what the scientists tried to explain. Of course, this was made up, as they were just ordinary scientists. However, because the church told the public of their supposed rituals, those fake, made up rituals have become the cornerstone for modern satanic worship. Kind of funny to realize that satanic worshippers aren't really worshipping satan, they're just doing what crap the church made up that they wanted people to fear.

The Freemasons? They are not a cult tied in any way to religion. They are just a bunch of rich oristocrats. They have no control in the government. A lot of people like to think that there's some secret evil council holding the reins to the world, but in reality, we're on a roller coaster with no driver - our leaders are not controlled in any way, shape, or form.

Abundness in sinfullness, as I said, the world is at a high point in peace. There is less corruption than ever, no rampant criminals, no brutal persecutions or mass murder anywhere in the free world. Tolerance for all races and peoples is abundant on every continent.

Finally, Israel is the safest nation in the entire planet. They have the most advanced spy network, have backing of every free nation (financially and militarily) in the world, and are able to strike any nation without any previous attack if they feel fit. They have nuclear capabilities. Ever read about the war that occurred after Israel was formed? Yes? No? Well, let me explain. After Israel was formed, a massive coalition of Muslim armies attacked this new nation to destroy it. However, it was defended and funded by NATO and brave Israeli soldiers, looking for a new nation. Against millions, they wiped out the Muslim armies. Ever since then, Israel is a force to be dealt with. No nation in the Middle East has a breath of defeating it. Iran making threats against it? If Iran makes nuclear weapons, who will be the first to know? Israel. They will have Iran destroyed in instant they get wind that Iran even thinks of attacking them.

North Korea? That nation is on the verge of collapse. Last month (being March 2007), two of Kim Jong Il's General's attempted a military coup. They were killed, but it just shows how close to oblivion the nation is. Their soldiers eat bark from trees to survive. Bark. How ever could they stand up against the Chinese army, the South Korean, American, and NATO? Every night, an average of 600 North Korea soldiers crosses the border to South Korea and surrenders on the condition they never enter North Korea again. North Korea will never attack South Korea or Japan. Ever. It is going to collapse within the next five years. When it does, it will be flooded with the afore mentioned forces. Another dictator gone from the face of the earth. His men are rebelling against him, and his nation is broken by the blockade we formed.

China? The issues with North Korea and America's dependency on products has only strengthened the bonds between the two nations. We are in no way hostile at all. Both nations share an unusual liking for each other. China wants to be more like America. Their culture has radically changed to Western culture.

Russia? They are now a democracy. They are struggling, but the world is there to support them. They know that Communism failed when they attempted it, and their economy is flourishing under Capitalism.

Avian flu? That died out, but it made scientists step up their work on developing more reliable anti-viruses. AIDs? AID's prevention has worked wonders, both in Africa and world wide. Scientists expect it to continue to spiral downward in numbers.

No, sir, the world is further than ever from an apocolypse of any kind. Christianity is not about repenting before the end, or your soul will forever be *bleep*. It is about love and caring for others. You seemed to have lost sight of that. I hope no one else does. Use facts before trying to frighten people.

Actuly I'm not trying to scare people my very Religous Brother who is a big influene is the one who told me this. And you are rigth about christianty being about following Christ's teachings and loving one and other, not repenting before the end times. I'm sorry if I offended or fightened you with my and my brother's ideas but that was not the intent. I just wanted to share my belifes about the end times, not scare people into repenting.Oh and about the war iraqu is not the war i'm talking about. iraq is not in any way related to this. The conflict has not yet come but probily will in far future.( cough Iran attacks Isral cough) As for the illumanti/Freemassions it is hard to find the truth because they are SECRECT socities so neather of us are right on this as bolth of us are bassing our thoughts purly off of sepculation and faulse fact. so all we can do is make educated gusses. And the world may be at peace but you must admit that America and the rest of the western nations are losing their morals to an extent . Culture just seemes to be geting more selfish but it is not as bad as say during the Roman empire. but eventuly in the far future when the end times are closer things will be quite sinfull. I'm not saying that it's realy bad yet just that we are heading towrds it. In other words i'm not saying to start repenting now because the end is comming but rather saying that rejoice becase our lord is comming back somedayand everything will be better. Rember that in the end times Christ will come agen and God will rule the world once more. Oh and it's not haping tomoro or anytime soon. I am almost positive that all of us hear will not see it but our children or our chlidren's children might. Who knows but it's just speculation. I'm just saying to be happy that Christ will come back someday and make things better. So please don't say that I'v lost touch or a trying to scare people into repenting because that's not my purpose. I'm just trying to say be thankfull fro every day on this earth and that the Lord is in our lives so next time you point fingers try and see the other side, ok.

And, how can you say things will get worse if they are only getting better? Humanity is only progressing, not degressing. And as for the Illuminati, they are not a 'secret' society. Their methods, creation, and reasoning are well known facts.

That old prediction was like... 8 years ago, man. I don't know why the heck someone even brought that up again. Minimal do we actually see catastrophe in the world now, and if it does happen, it's not like it endangers the life of a country immediately.
