"You don't have one." Ornlu responded, "Or do you?" he added sarcastically. "Anyway, they are running overdue on my payment. I need to live outside these walls....clearly they are all safe up here and don't realize what else is out there."

"Good point, though I did survive on stealing and bribary for six years." Rainbow said with a shrug. "Probably would be best to bring it up after this assassin thing, they will never remember if you bring it up now. As for the first part, you'll soon find out." Rainbow walked past Ornlu as she said the last part and ran her tail along his neck again as she did so. She then started climbing down the wall. "You coming? We need to hide so we can give him a good old fright when he decides he does have metaphoric balls and shows his face in the open."

Blaze nuzzled her head softly with his own, trying to comfort her. "Don't worry. He can't hurt you anymore. If he even tries... he'll lose an eye, probably more." His scarlet eyes glimmered as she buried her face into his neck. "I promise you... he won't lay a claw on you."

"Don't make promises... just do your best. That's all I want," the ice dragoness responded. Her eyes shot open, the sapphire irises flickering about the room. "You should go, if we wait too long here, Ikazuchi will get too close to Cynder. How I'm feeling isn't as important as keeping the Resistance's hope alive."

Blaze nodded in agreement, removing his head from her neck. "I'll be fine, Ikazuchi will be in for the fight of his life." He padded off into the direction of the exit, his footfalls audible to Frost.

"Please... be careful Blaze," she stated. Her deep blue eyes closed as her thoughts turned to him.

Rainbow's scales seemed to ripple as she turned invisible like water, she then hid herself as well, waiting for Ikazuchi to show his face.

Blaze's scarlet scales glimmered as he stepped out of the meeting hall, his eyes closed as he attempted to hear where Ikazuchi was coming from. The ebony membrane of his wings caught the wind, billowing in anticipation of his take-off. A distant crackle of electricity reached him, and he quickly side-stepped, just as a bolt of lightning struck where he once stood. "Ikazuchi... there's no point in hiding, I know you're here!" His eyes shot open, scanning the air about him. A yellow and gray blur struck him on his side, sending him to the ground.

"So naive... you were such an easy target. You and I have a score to settle Blaze," Ikazuchi coldly stated. His emotionless voice sent chills down Blaze's spine as the downed dragon regained his ground.

Celeste quickly sped around a corner, so she was behind a special kind of glass, enchanted by magic, in a room of the temple Cynder said they could see Ikazuchi and Blaze through, but not be seen themselves. Celeste saw Ikazuchi pounce Blaze just as Canicia slammed the door closed behind them just incase. Celeste was about to jump out and help Blaze but was held back by Cynder's outstretched wing. "Wait, we should see what happens next. We don't get any sound in here, but if you just wait a second..." the black dragoness said, walking over to a wall where there was a fairly large button. Cynder pushed down the button with her tail and dozens of small slits opened in the wall. Celeste could see them, but only if she concentrated hard, and she doubted Ikazuchi would notice them, so intent was he on his rival. But they could now all hear what was happening, and could jump in if things took a turn for the worst.

Rainbow meanwhile was on the ceiling directly above the two fighting Dragons. She too refrained from intervening, or even moving, unless it was necessary. She remained still and invisible, until either Blaze was in trouble, or Ikazuchi was weakening and ready to be caught.

"You're right Ikazuchi, we do have a score to settle. I may have paid you back for the torture you put me through, and attempting to violate Frost, but there's one thing I've yet to avenge," Blaze retorted.

"Oh? Would it be how I lured your father to our leader and had his power drained? After all, your father was a prime target, what with the technique he invented and all," Ikazuchi taunted.

The two dragons began to circle each other, neither taking their gaze from their opposite.

"Your leader is weak. He has no strength of his own, so he steals the strength of others! My father was ten times the dragon that coward will ever be," the fire dragon retorted. The furrowing of Ikazuchi's brow in outrage brought a smirk to Blaze's visage. "So, how have you been? Ever able to find a mate you can satisfy?"

"Hah, you know that's impossible. After all, you're the one who mutilated me," the electric dragon snapped. A thought occurred to him on how to turn the conversation around. "So, have you and Frost been together in the night yet?"

"No, because unlike you, I actually care about others before myself. She's still traumatized by what you attempted to do, so I choose not to be near her until she's ready. Unlike you, I'm not a savage beast," Blaze quipped. Ikazuchi's cold, cruel laugh unnerved the scarlet dragon. "What's so funny, you morbid cretin?"

"Well, if she's still scared, perhaps I would have been too large for her," Ikazuchi crudely remarked. A burst of laughter from his opponent caused him to frown. "Now it's my turn to ask; what's so funny?"

"Actually, from what Frost said after some of the shock finally faded away, she said you were very small. In fact, after I removed your organ, I must say, I agree with her," Blaze remarked, malice in his voice. The remark caught Ikazuchi off-guard, bringing him into a defensive stance.

Ornlu listened to the conversation, his smirk growing wider and wider the entire time. He wished he could just comment about what the electric dragon could do, but refrained himself. it would have given him away, and he didn't want anything to be taken out of his pay...

"So what do you intend to do, attack me rashly?" Blaze mocked, amused.

"You wish..." Ikazuchi responded. With a leap into the air, he took wing, held into the air by the cross-breeze. "Show me what you've got!"

"With pleasure," the fire dragon retorted. He rose gently into the air, his eyes on the yellow dragon before him. The two wordlessly flew towards each other, grappling each other, their eyes burning with rage.

Frost meanwhile strolled into position, able to hear and see the confrontation, while being invisible to Ikazuchi's eyes. "Don't do anything rash Blaze," she thought.

Rainbow shifted her head slightly, so she could see better. This conversation was amusing her, and they were both fighting with more ferocity than she had seen in ages. She was itching for a fight now, well she thought it was for a fight at least....

(Good job Malefor and other younger users aren't in the RP then. Even if they did read it, its unlikely they would realise straight away anyway, we haven't said it outright! Lol XD )

"You know... you never saw the actual chase. You only came in at the last minute to save your wretched girlfriend, like the typical, foolish hero," Ikazuchi stated. A malicious grin formed on his visage as the fire dragon bared his teeth in frustration. "I assure you, she was scared out of her mind. Running through the streets of Warfang. The foolish girl... she ran into a dead end eventually, and that's when I caught her. You got lucky, you know."

"Shut up!" Blaze shouted, fury tugging at his heart. With a shift in his weight, he threw his cruel opponent to the below them, his temper rising. "If you value your life, you'll cease talking and just focus on fighting, you fool."

"You're holding back. Then again, so am I," Ikazuchi stated. He quickly regained his position in the air, a smirk on his face. "You may be stronger Blaze, but I've always been faster. Both on the ground, and in the air."

"You've never been faster Ikazuchi. I've always struck you in a fair fight, and you couldn't even land a blow," the scarlet dragon retorted. A grimace formed upon his visage as a cold laughter escaped Ikazuchi.

"I never even showed you my true speed, you fool. This time, you're the one who will never be able to land another blow," the yellow dragon remarked.

Looking off through the base, he heard a noise in the distance. Assuming it was from a fight, his normal self would have most likely steered clear of the conflict; however, he felt that he would better enjoy some action as opposed to some more stealthy action. Slightly happy and slightly unsure, he walked toward the sounds he heard, strange thoughts cycling through his head.

Ikazuchi flashed through the air, as if he had never been where he once stood. The scarlet eyes of his foe widened in shock as the electric assassin stopped moving just above him. "Still think I'm slow Blaze!?" With blinding speed, his tail smashed down upon the fire dragon's back. The sheer momentum and impact of the blow sent Blaze into the ground below.

"Ugh..." the resistance strategist groaned as he struck the ground. His head began to pound, his body aching. Just as he regained his footing upon the ground, he was struck into the ground once more.

"Can you catch the wind? I think not. My master may be able to steal powers, but this speed is something I built up through hard work. I doubt he could take that if he wanted to. And even if he tried, I'd be too fast for him to catch," Ikazuchi remarked. He lowered his head, his gold eyes meeting those of Blaze. "Face it, you're outclassed. All of you are. No matter how strong the members of your resistance are, strength means nothing if their blows can't connect. And I'm too fast for them to land a single blow."

He circled the downed dragon, a malicious grin on his visage. "Do you honestly think I'm stupid? I am your equal when it comes to strategic thinking. I know that your allies are here, waiting with a trap. It doesn't matter what you plan, I will always be one step ahead of you." A cold, cruel laugh escaped him, his sharp eyes seeming to laugh with him at Blaze. "You know... I've just come up with a brilliant idea. Once you and Cynder are dead, I'll take Frost to my men. I'm sure they'd love to... spend time with her."

Both the fire and ice dragons flinched upon hearing his last few remarks. Frost took a step back, fearful, making sure to avoid revealing her presence.

Ornlu rolled his eyes and knew that he had been revealed. However, the electric dragon probably didn't know where they were, so he remained where he was. Which was, of course, behind the dragon in the shadows. Unforunantly, the shadows were at least ten feet away from him, and he would have to make a mad-dash if he was to make it. However, there was no telling if there was going to be any electricity involved, and if there was...well, they may as well start building a grave.

"Oh that isn't right..." he mouthed to himself when he heard the last comment.

Blaze lashed his tail out at the circling dragon, intent on causing a retreat from the blow. Just as he'd hoped, Ikazuchi jumped away, avoiding the blow. Taking the opportunity, the fire dragon stood up, his scarlet eyes holding a piercing gaze to them. Malice swelled within him. "You craven wretch... forget the plan, I'm going to kill you outright."

The chilling laughter burst forth once again from the electric dragon. "How do you intend to do that? With your version of your father's technique; Draco Comet? Newsflash Blaze, your father was an ice dragon. He used the ice to surround and protect himself from the impact of Draco Comet. You can't do such a thing, that technique is a double-edged sword if used by any element other than ice. Your flames will harm you as you build momentum."

"I don't care... even you aren't fast enough to counter that technique's speed," Blaze coldly answered. His body was wreathed with flames, the roaring inferno crackling, giving his eyes an eerie appearance.

What the hell is he doing?! Rainbow thought to herself. Once she realised that Ikazuchi knew that she and the others were around (though he probably didn't know exactly where), she had started to crawl down the wall so that she was roughly opposite Ornlu, though she didn't actually know this. She was now behind Blaze and the heat was making her rather uncomfortable, but she stayed still, whatever Blaze was doing was likely their best shot at subduing the assassin.

You'd be moving with such speed and momentum, impact with anything could leave you severely injured, perhaps even mortally wounded," Ikazuchi lectured. His eyes closed, the dragon remaining completely calm. "And as for your pitiful allies. I know exactly where they are. One is behind you, and another is ten feet behind me."

"I don't care. I will do whatever it takes to finish you off. Even at the cost of my own life!" Blaze snapped. He rose into the air, the flames seemingly having a mind of their own, and bringing him up high above the assassin. "And actually, you're wrong about any element other than ice being ineffective for 'Draco Comet.' Earth can also be used to protect oneself." The fire dragon began to circle in the air above Ikazuchi, building up momentum with his continued movement.

"Not quite right Ikazuchi. Your ability to spot enemies in any space, behind every rock, the general paranoia you second-class ninjas employ is really slipping." Canicia said, flying out of the magic spell-glass and stationing himself in the center of the circle Blaze was flying in, slightly above because he didn't quite know what this 'Draco Comet' did. He built up an ice shield around Blaze to protect the dragon from his own move, like they had said.

Then, to protect the two dragons or atleast provide a distraction, Celeste shot out from the glass, not even bothering to de-activate the spell and so making a large shatter in a supposedly solid wall and shot out as a yellow streak in the air, slamming straight into Ikazuchi's side using the inherent speed of electricity dragons whilst using her secondary fire element to wreathe her head in flames that didn't burn her, but latched and clung onto Ikazuchi's scales as she bore her dual horns as far as she could into the fellow lightning dragon's side.
