Rainbow laughed along with Frost and then shrugged.

"True.... I surprised myself mroe than anything else, hehe, I don't usually have this kind of conversation with anyone."

(Where's Kjakings? I dunno what the hell the Base looks like....)

Ornlu flew ahead of them lazily, not really keeping track of where he was going. That little battle thing reminded him of his older brother, Draco. Draco seemed like a common name, but he didn't care that much: Draco went dark-side. Ornlu thought he had died in that battle, but he didn't...and was probably somewhere, causing some sort of trouble. Not only did he change mentally...but he changed physically too, and it scared him.

Though, he couldn't dwell on it for too long. He had to keep his game-face on and not let anyone know...per usual. People may hate him, but it is his way of dealing with what is going on. By just making cracks at everything, it kept him sane. Sure, he was thought insane becuase he showed no fear...but that wasn't true. He knew every emotion, and experianced them the hard way.

Landing on a nearby building, he walked over to the edge and perched on it like a statue. He was so bored now, and he couldn't keep his attention on anything. Maybe it is becuase he needed to catch up on sleep...

Flying over a small group of buildigs Rainbow spotted Ornlu on top of one of them. She looked at Frost.

"The Base isn't far now, can you manage Blaze on your own? Ornlu could be pretty useful to us so I'm gonna go and try to see if I can keep him around any longer. With Ikazuchi gone it may be a good idea to do a bit of spying ourselves, which is something Ornlu and I are good at."

With that Rainbow slowly let go of Blaze, making sure Frost had his weight before turning invisible and diving down to the building Ornlu was on. She slowly snuck up behind him and then turned visible again.

"What's with making yourself look like a shiny gargoyle? Couldn't find the treasure room to get your pay?" Rainbow said jokingly to him, while coming to stand next to him.

Ornlu faced her and smirked, "Yeah, that's my reason." he responded sarcastically, "No..just drifting off. I haven't gotten much sleep lately and when I tried, I was woken back up by the little one."

Rainbow ran her tail slowly up Ornlu's neck again and leaned her head in close.

"We're sat on top of a random person's house, dear. I know it adds to the thrill but its not the safest place imaginable." She said sarcastically before winking at him and pulling her head back again. "Besides, I want to know what Cynder will do next.... I certainly want in on it...."

Ornlu copied her move to her and laughed, "True. However, I don't care what Cynder does next. If I get paid, I will do whatever she wants me to do. I have my grudges against both sides, but this is the side with the payment." He stopped, "Maybe the base has a hidden room or something..."

"Your guess is as good as mine. I haven't been with the Resistance long so I wouldn't know. As I've already told you, I spent my childhood thieving to stay alive."

Rainbow went silent, honestly having no idea how to reply. She started flicking little rocks off of the roof with her tail while she thought of something to say.

Rainbow rolled her eyes and looked about, she then opened her wings ready to fly in the direction that Frost took.

"See, that's why I don't like having deep conversations with people...." She mumbled to herself before taking off to catch up with Frost.

A stone cliff-face was within the periphery of Frost's vision. "I see the base up ahead," she remarked. She began to make out alcoves within the cliff wall. The alcoves served as entrances... both true and false, all but two ending up in dead ends... or traps. The ice dragoness turned her head to the side to see Rainbow. "So... have a nice chat with Ornlu?"

"Hah... and dragons have the nerve to call dragonesses high strung," Frost jested. Her eyes closed as she tossed her head back in laughter, entertained. "He's always talking about you two having 'something to do.' I think he's just getting his hopes up."

It was now Rainbow's turn to laugh, she nearly fell out of the sky in doing so, but luckily the entrance to one of the caves was not too far under her. She checked to make sure she had landed on the right entrance, which she had, before answering Frost.

"I'm still deciding whether to take him up on his offer to be honest. I mean, I wouldn't mind a bit of action. But, as I said before, he does have to earn it first!"

"And as long as he continues that aloof charade, he won't be earning it anytime soon!" Frost remarked. The beating of her wings slowed in tempo as she approached the entrance Rainbow had alighted within. Eventually the wings rested in a flat position, the ice dragoness merely gliding through the air. She made sure to keep her movements minimal, so as not to lose the unconscious dragon upon her back.

When Frost's paws made contact with the ground, she stood still, her back sore from carrying Blaze such a distance. "It's all about the approach. But even that doesn't change the fact that you'll get a sore back from carrying a fully grown dragon on your back."

"May I?" Before moving Blaze onto her own back instead to give Frost a rest, she then started walking into the Base through the cave. "What do you think will happen now? One of their 'Generals', as you could have called him, has been killed. Do you think Cynder will go on the offensive a bit? To try and at least find out where they are holding Spyro?"

Ornlu, who was ahead of them, was already going inside. Strangly, he had a dark expression on his face instead of a happy or sarcastic one. It was as if he was thinking of something he didn't want to think about.

Rainbow noticed something glisten in the semi-darkness in front of her, which she realised were Ornlu's scales. She saw that he looked rather glum again and called out to him:
"What's with the face from the dark ages this time? That won't get you anywhere."
