Spyroforum Church
Today at Church, I thought about doing something like this. XP
Here's how it works:
Each day, we try to get in a new Gospel Song and Bible Verse. I know one particular person who is for sure to be interested-Swaffy.
Anyway, if you are interested, tell me and I will list down your name.

Here is my song and Bible Verse for today:
Song, Victory in Jesus:
I heard an old, old story,
How a Savior came from glory,
How He gave His life on Calvary
To save a wretch like me;
I heard about His groaning,
Of His precious blood's atoning,
Then I repented of my sins
And won the victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about His healing,
Of His cleansing pow'r revealing.
How He made the lame to walk again
And caused the blind to see;
And then I cried, "Dear Jesus,
Come and heal my broken spirit,"
And somehow Jesus came and bro't
To me the victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.
I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
Beyond the crystal sea;
About the angels singing,
And the old redemption story,
And some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of victory.
O victory in Jesus,
My Savior, forever.
He sought me and bought me
With His redeeming blood;
He loved me ere I knew Him
And all my love is due Him,
He plunged me to victory,
Beneath the cleansing flood.

Bible Verse:
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”- Deuteronomy 6:4-5

Re: Spyroforum Church
This forum is not for religion. Unfortunately, most members here are FAR too immature to handle it. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but several members would complain and throw a hissy fit.

Re: Spyroforum Church
Then don't come here. We are not forcing you to post here.
In fact, Christians are not suposed to force their religion upon peope. They
give the other person the choice to be a Christian, because it would be
insanely wrong and against the Bible to force their religion upon others.
Hate all you want. We are not making you come here.
[I meant "here" as in this thread. Not the whole forum.]

Yes, we've tried this SEVERAL times. Not once has it worked. People will come anyway and flame wars will erupt. Nothing you do or say will stop that. That's cold, hard fact.

If it seems to get too out of hand, I'll lock it. Unless something sparks, it's fine.

Re: Spyroforum Church
OK, since you guys wana do this...
This is how it is going to work: There is to be NO ARGUMENTS in this thread. Start arguing, and you will be banned for a bit. We don't need a select few people ruining a thread. If you don't agree with it, don't read it.

And, Swaffy's right, it would be TOTALLY against the Bible to force religion upon others.

Re: Spyroforum Church
I'm glad the three of us are in the right agreement. Thank God that SR
came. I have always wanted a place for Christians to simply ... hang out.
It's a place we can go if the world is being crappy at the time, and a place
we can go if we need a friend to talk [or text] to.
Just like my youth group. We go to Taco Cabana after youth, also. We
chill, eat, and talk our mouths off. It's fun. Except... there are no
restaurants in a forum, but I could live without one here.
Yۤ!

What?
Catholics are known for having huge services.
I'm a Christian.
The reason I somewhat frowned upon this topic was that some members on here occasionally bash others' ideas. I didn't want someone's feelings hurt or for a flame war to start.

Hey, anybody is welcome. If you are Christian, we automatically accept
you. But tell us that you joined, though.
Wednesday, I have youth group. I will post something about it.

I thought the same thing basically. I was a little hesitant to post here.
I'm a Catholic Christian. I've started Confirmation prep this last month. I'll be getting confirmed in May sometime.

Re: Spyroforum Church
Well....as said before I don't like flame wars over this stuff...but I guess if everyone stays responsible about it then it will be fine. I'm a Christian Presbytarian...and I wouldn't want to be anything else. I still have my own beliefs about certain things though.
