Being a werewolf would kinda suck anyway you could hurt or kill someone you know while in the possesed state and could end up somewere far away from home when you finally turn back.

Legend tell's us that to become a werewolf you must be bitten by a allready existing werewolf in his transformed shape. And even when you do have the cursed blood you onlly turn once a month on the full moon and even then you have no controll over your actions and won't remember a thing the next day.
