Oh come on Sonic unleashed is the fastest Sonic game yet and Sonic games have allways been repetitive (to an exstent) and had crappy acting.

Yes, it is fast, but only on the normal sonic stages... Everything else was as slow as a turtle on drugs.

Sonic games were never as repetitive as this one, you need to literally do the exact same things in each stage, in older games, you had to actually complete missions that had slight meaning.

The acting was really overboard on this game, especially with that plushie guy...

Hey, look here buddy, I have a right to my own opinion, I dislike Unleashed because of the gameplay, you may like Unleashed, but I don't/

You must only hate it because you probably suck at it. no offense, but ya have to play it for a while to get use to it.......

No, that's another thing... It's too easy, I got to the end without dieing once, then I just stopped because of boredom.

I'm guessing you were playing the Wii version then?

I don't know why people hate the new game's they're way to amazing for the older crowed I'm guessing.

I've noticed that all the little kids like Sonic and all the people that have been playing his game's for year's and have stayed a fan of him like the new game's too.

Its the reviewers and stuff.

No, I like the new games... I just hate Unleashed.

Sonic: Secret Rings? Fast and high-paced...
Sonic: Unleashed? Slow and poor gameplay...

During the werehog stages, everything is very slow, and the fights are either really easy, or hard to hit. And they are constant and a new fight is activated every 10 seconds. NOT something I would like to see from a Sonic game. I will admit that the day-time stages are fun... But they are too short.

In-between levels where you need to talk to people, it is very boring and kind of useless for the story-line and gameplay. They should've just replace it with cutscenes.

All-in-all, I need to say that they should not have made the game while their main focus was the Black Knight... And I hope that is better (it most likely will since you actually get to choose between speed and power).

^ I don't know about you, but I found Sonic going pretty darn fast in Unleashed, but maybe that's because I haven't played a 3D Sonic game in a while.

Who give's a crap if the Werehog was slow, Sega wanted to give it a twist and they did. It also turned out to be a pretty good twist too, well to almost all people except you. You must be the biggest whiner ever if you complain about that. Also just play the Sonic stage's if you hate the Werehog, he's the same thing by the way. Oh and if ya did not notice the old game's were slow as *bleep*.

^ Uhh, a LOT of people had major gripes about the Werehog levels, not just the person you're addressing. I can't anything yet, since I've only started the game though. Sonic as himself though isn't slow at all I think.

The Werehog wasn't actually THAT bad. They're actually pretty fun once you level up a lot and gain new moves. Combating is definitely better in the PS3/360 version, so having one of those is a plus. I thought Unleashed overall went over well.

As for the upcoming Sonic and the Black Knight... I don't know what to think. My only request is, NO JUN S. AS SOUND DIRECTOR. Sonic Team made a good move by choosing a different sound director for Unleashed and going with a more orchestrated feel anyway. >_>

Same here, but I also like Dr.Eggman alot too. :-P

Shadow is my over all favorite character in the game's though.

It makes sense to alot of people, you may not understand my opinion but I know many others that do.

@Neotyguy40: Please note that Sonic & Knuckles came before Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast. But it was indeed an awesome add-on. Props to SEGA for coming up with it! ^_^

In my opinion, Sonic CD is by far my favorite Sonic game. Awesome gameplay, cool soundtrack (JPN/EU version, America's was so-so) and it just had everything I loved about Sonic: the speed, Dr. Robotnik before becoming a broken record (YOU LITTLE!), and of course... the introduction of METAL SAWNIC! *brick'd*
