Dio finished the doe and turned quissically to the wolven beast. He was big, winged, big toothed. Dio looked more carefully. His jugular was well defended with a layer of muscle, probably for looking round for prey with silence and speed. But his wrists were vulnerable. Attacking there would not only disable his claws, but would drain his blood.

Dio shook his head. This beast wasn't dangerous. Stupid, possibly, Dio thought as the wolf, well, "partied". There was no reason to kill him. Yet a part of him persisted. He is a possible threat, and there is little reason to keep him. He is too old to be corrupted to my cause.

Dio shook his head again. What was wrong with him. It was like a submerged part of his mind, come to haunt him. Why are you here. There was silence for a moment, then, because you are a possibility.

Dio felt the urge to kill something, but repressed it. It was too dark, all the predators would be out. For now he would stay here, until at least, Wedger returned. Dio lay down near the hole in the fence. Oh Wedger, I bet you think I'm done with you. Dio smiled. He had only just begun.

OOC: Great, three other people on and none of them I want to abuse. Darn!

Sam and Sade hurried to Cecile, but Katrina hung back a bit, examining her surroundings. She started with the cat-people. They certainly weren't servals, but were definitely wildcats. They wore capes with hoods and.. skirts? Trying to suppress a laugh, she also noticed that all of the cats appeared to be male. Slightly disappointed at this, she turned her attention to the small white dragon who had opened the gate. It looked as if he was the youngest out of all of them, and yet intelligence sparkled in his eyes... and so did something else. Breaking her gaze away from him, she now focused on the other dragon and his wolf companion. She couldn't figure out what they were doing, exactly, but she supposed "partying" would be the best way to describe it. She wasn't quite sure she would like these two. Sure, there was the whole cat-dog (or in this case, serval-wolf) rivalry, but they gave off an "odd" vibe. She looked around for the other dragons, but there weren't any others. Hmm... I wonder what happened

Dio made a point not to move as the creature inspected him. He ignored the part of him that wanted to treat the creature as a threat. Instead he closed his eyes. Tomorrow, perhaps Wedger would return. Then Dio would seek the truth. Nothing would stop him. Dio thought for a fleeting moment how, as time went by, it became harder to distinguish between the strange voice and himself. But was this voice himself? Who was "himself"? Sleep claimed the pale dragon.

Katrina scowled at him. " Yes, how could I not? And I was just examining my surroundings, nothing's wrong!" Definitely odd... I don't think I'll be getting along with them well she thought as she made her way next to Sam. Sam had turned her head and was now eyeing Axpo. Katrina didn't think Sam liked him much, either.

Dio had kidded himself. He would never be able to sleep here. There was so much noise and light. Dio slipped away into the forest. He would sleep on grass tonight.

A clearing in the middle of the vale. Dio approached it with mild relief. He was so tired. The events of today had been tiring. Just before he lay down. He heard a rustling. A rabbit? Dio lay still. As the figure pushed aside the leaves, Dio pounced, jaws ready. He grasped the figure, scratching and swinging it, smashing it eventually on a nearby rock. A vicious kill. It had been one fiesty rabbit. But as Dio examined his kill, he realised it wasn't a rabbit. Dio's blood ran cold, but the other part of him felt slightly annoyed.

Dio ran back to camp. He wouldn't be sleeping tonight...

Dio found the wolven dragon and one of the twins in the forest, gorging on a rabbit. Although how they managed to gorge on a single rabbit was beyond him at the time.

Dio leapt from tree to tree. Emerging finally at the village. He could hear the faint rustling of the pair behind him, but he wasted no time. He dived at the hole in the fence.

But there was another one there. This one slightly larger. It had huge eyes, and little wings. It was a mossy green and it's teeth shone red, or it may have been a trick of the light.

Your grublins.

What?

No need to fear. They are at your command. Or my accurately, my command.

Dio leapt for the hole and made it through. The grublin followed him, earning itself nothing more than a mauled face.

Dio whirled to face the astonished village. "Well, what you waiting for? Get weapons! Close the gates! Get ready to fight!"

OOC: Sorry, this is kinda forcing a situation on people, kinda godmodding, but bloody hell it gets so boring round here! I had to do something. Oh well. You could always run for it.

Katrina, Sam and Sade wasted no time. Sade pulled out her spear while the other two drew out their daggers. Cecile shot up from her tree and flew in large circles. She could see some of them.. ugly, bug-like things.
