At one point, she goes for a knife in order to stab either you or Catherine (it's not clear who her target is, because she doesn't find the knife).

Because cheating on Katherine just seems wrong even for me.

Fair enough, but if you chose Catherine, it wouldn't be cheating, would it? She didn't even know you had a girlfriend at first. The choice is which woman to keep. You can't keep both of them.

You have a choice, and is there any reason that Katherine is more deserving of you, especially when Catherine respects you the way that you are, whereas Katherine is constantly berating you for not being more career-minded?

In real life, I'd always prefer someone who isn't pushy, and prefers to have fun than to focus on bettering themselves in accord to the capatalist system.
