All right, I'm going to tell you about the time I almost killed someone. True story, I swear.
So I'm in drama, doing a line run on our piece. We're all pretty tired of the script, but we've only got two days until the performance, so we need to have it perfectly memorised. It's even worse for me, because of all the pollen floating about, and the fact that my pills had made my drowsy and generally malevolent. Earlier, we ransacked the studios for props, and I got a knife. So I'm bored out of my skull, and I have a knife in my pocket. Bad combination. It's not paticularly sharp, but it's got weight to it, and you could stab someone well enough with a strong arm. Absent-mindedly, I flick the knife about, holding the blade between thumb and two fingers, like you see knife throwers in circuses do. We're all in a circle, and then someone pushes his chair (it was on wheels) into the centre to examine something in the script with another guy. It's just at this moment when the blade slips through my fingers. It flies quietly between the two of them, missing them both by less than twenty centimetres.
There is silence for a moment.
Then the guy it went closest to spins around and is all like "WTF?" and the other guy sits back, pale, having realised what just happened. Everyone else is still in shock. And I'm sitting there, laughing my head off, because I almost accidentally killed someone.
