That time does seem a tad bit unrealistic. Of course, I can't judge, seeing as I have no evidence to back up how long it took me to get 100%. I did that on the first playthrough and ended up selling the game back because I didn't have any money. ;~;

Speed runs could happen for a multitude of factors, like careful route planning, knowing exactly where everything is, and sometimes you may even skip cutscenes to save time.

At any rate, it can currently take me just over 7 hours to clear it 100%. Do note that a margin of this had a quirk with bad route planning at Avalar and somehow getting slowed down when I realised I wasn't quite fully powered up by the time I got to Malefor's lair, which meant spending an additional 10 minutes re-playing it in chapter mode to power myself up.

I'll see if I can re-attempt it at some point and go even faster smile

Well that's about all there is to it lol...you have to plan it out carefully and look to find shorter ways each time. Good luck with it...

Well of course it is. Memorizing the levels and all the locations to every single item is going to help you lol....that's why it's called a speed run.

Yeah, though you know me - weak short term memory plus Wii-based fighting controls (they're still fine though, just hard to pull off all the big heavy-hitting moves and grapples efficiently) would make it tougher than the usual. And if anything, I'm STILL in a pickle on how to clear the ramparts in an efficient short time with all this catapult repair and enemy barrage work.

But yeah, I'll be happy to take it to heart smile

Well you have to find that balance yourself....and once you master it you will be able to put up some awesome times...don't waste too much time though tongue

Practice makes perfect as they say smile also i think perhaps practicing on a level you find hard the most would help really.
