"It very well could have been, now come. A session of the council meeting is going to begin in a few hours. I think attending will give you all some insight." Terrador nodded. "I will be the speaker at the council, you don't have to say anything."

Spyro blinked "You want us to come?"

"Of course, now that the war's over with Malefor we can finally relax a bit and get down to your teaching in more 'intellectual' things, as Cyril called it."

"Haah, more school."

"A sit-in at the council will give you insight of the inner workings of our politics, and also Cyril and Volteer will inform you on the clan leaders, what alliances exist, who are neutral, and who are doing nothing, but we suspect are up to no good."

Spyro shrugged at Sparx "I guess we have to go see politics!"

"I know from personal experience that politics is boring...." Cynder said. "Nontheless, I guess it must be much different to how the apes conduct politics. I am honestly quite keen to go."

Spyro looked towards Cynder. He smiled. Now more than ever he was happy he had saved her from convexity. Terrador nodded for them to follow. "Volteer and Cyril will be a little late. They're creating some golums to guard the throne-room. Follow, we need to get there early to prepare for the arriving 'guests'."

-Three Hours Pass-

Terrador was at the center of a large circular room assuming the floor. Slowly many different dragons of different colors came into the room. The place had four stories and was like an opera-theater. Private booths on each floor to represent each clan. "And that. That's the clan Warrel, they provide books to our stoors, the clan Popurri is Neutral, they have a spa and-"

A dark female entered the booth on the second floor close to where Spyro, Cynder, and the others sat. She was . . "What's a human doing here?"

Volteer saw a young human woman with pink hair and a . . lavish, black velvet gown. He furrowed his brows and lowered his voice. "That . . is Onyxia." the young woman was accompanied by several 'good-looking' servants. She wore jewelry, a head-dress, and had a glass of champeigne in her hands. She was, a shapely figure to say the least. And more than a few young males looked towards her.

"What's her true form then? And who do Blackwood wish to take the throne?" Cynder replied. She was very curious about all of these Clans, but this Onyxia looked to be Leader of one of the more substantial clans. By the way she held herself and how well-behaved her servants were, Cynder guessed that she could present pressing arguments and would always be heard.

Terrador had started to talk but Spyro was also curious to learn about this Onyxia. For . . some reason this, Onyxia seemed, odd.

"We don't know what their goal is. They appear to be neutral but that woman's eyes betrays." said Volteer "Beauty is her strategy, Sparx. I have no doubt she is cunning."

"You read too much into things my friend." said Cyril "There is no doubt that she is a threat, but we can't jump to conclusions."

"Yes, but looks aren't everything. I would think people are smarter than that. If she can't present a good argument then it'll be for nothing."

"We don't know that, Malefor may have told us that to dampen our spirits." The king has more than one trick up his sleeve.

Onyxia, in her booth, extended her hand to a servant "Mind getting me a drink my dear? This will be . . entertaining."

"Yes milady."

"They defeated the Dark Master! Speak not ill of them!"

"HOW DARE YOU!"

Several booths were soon drowned in a sea of yells and arguing. Even Terrador's booming voice could not silence them!

"Maybe I was wrong." Cynder commented, dryly. Raising her voice to Spyro and the others over the din. "Political meetings are chaotic and tiresome even in Creatures such as ours. You would think it would be more civilised than a bunch of apes meeting each other, but this isn't much different. Each party only has a go at the other parties and no agreement is reached...."
