SpyroForum Needs Your Help!

As most of you know, SpyroForum is in the process of moving to a new server (again). However, this move is not cheap. SpyroRocks needs about $400 to make this move and keep these wonderful forums alive. SR is able to pay for the move himself, but it's a huge expense and he and I would both like to see this community support itself.

To help raise money for SpyroForum, I am offering my services to the cause. I present to you all:

Adopt-A-Forum!

How This Works

I will draw a pen sketch of your favorite character from the Spyro franchise as a "thank you" gift for any donation that is $5 or more.

These are very simple, quick sketches. After you've made your donation, tell me your favorite Spyro character (official characters only; no fan creations or characters from fandoms I am not in) and give me a verb and an adjective or noun. I will draw the first thing that comes to mind.

For donations of $20 or more, I will allow fan characters (provided you have references) or special things like your favorite Spyro couple (no more than two characters, though).

And for donations of $50 or more, I will do a fully inked piece of line work (no more than two characters).

It is important to note that these are not commissions! These are thank you drawings for donating to SpyroForum. All proceeds will be going directly to SpyroRocks.

So, if you'd like to donate to these wonderful forums, please send your donation through PayPal to confiscatedretinaATgmail.com. Make sure you PM me or mention here what e-mail address you used so I'll know who sent what money. Once you've sent the payment, please respond on this thread with your favorite character, your verb and your adjective/noun. Sketches will be finished no later than a week after your donation has been confirmed, line art may take upwards of two weeks.

If you cannot donate, please don't reply to this thread. I don't want to have a bunch of extraneous comments to sift through when looking for what it is I'm supposed to be drawing. big_smile

That's very kind of you, Razz. The email that my paypal uses is c.m.evans[at]hotmail.com but you won't see the money for about a week (it takes AGES to transfer money into paypal from a bank account) but when it does go to you I'll note my character. Thanks!

Nah you don't need a credit card, just a bank account. You set up a paypal account, entering in your bank account details while you are setting it up. Then you can transfer money into your paypal account from your bank account (and vice versa). Then you can send money to other people's paypal accounts by typing in their email address and the amount you want to send, and they can do the same to you. When you receive money into your paypal from someone else, you can transfer it from paypal account to your bank account and then spend it or whatever. It's pretty safe as far as I know.
