I don't play sports. I find them to be a waste of time.

Re: what sports do you do?
That's odd... I understand if you just don't like playing them, but a waste of time?
I used to be on the badminton team back in high school. In middle school I was on the girls' basketball team. Also used to be on the swim team for a while. I don't really play sports now, but sometimes I and some friends will head to a nearby basketball court to play as a cheap get-together sort of thing, and it's become a habit.

sports are very good for you aicebo. how can they be a waste of time? a waste of time is sitting on the couch all day watching tv and eating potato chips. ![]()

Having to leave all the time for practices and games when you could be doing something else with your time, not consistantly going out to run, swim, fight, etc. I'd much rather do other things with my time.

I play tennis occasionally, but not seriously.
In my opinion, DDR should be a sport. =P

Re: what sports do you do?
DDR is considered a kind of aerobic I guess. I know some doctors have actually recommended it as being good for your health. I got my friend the game and a pad for her birthday and she lost weight after that.
I guess it could also be considered a sport since people enter tournaments for it and stuff. I mean, isn't chess considered a sport?

I love chess-such a strategic game.
Anyways, I play a lot of basketball.

I play soccer, tennis, and obviously DDR. (If chess is a sport, DDR has to be one.) XD

I agree with you there.

Well there's Track and Field on the options. I used to be in Track, but I decided to quit.

Re: what sports do you do?
I don't race on organized tracks. So track wouldn't be valid for me.

Re: what sports do you do?
I used to play baseball when I was younger. Most boring sport in the world. People say I should play football because I'm pretty big but I honestly don't care enough. Closest thing I do that could be considered a sport is weight training but that's not really competitive.

exactly what im talking about! so some people arent into sports...it dosent mean you have to say they are a waste of time! thats offensive to some people who will go out there in the rain just to play soccer!! i dont know...it just seems very rude.

Re: what sports do you do?
Someone might take offense to this, someone might take offense to that... guess what? You can't say anything without at least one person taking offense to your statement, especially those that get "offended" easily and enjoy telling you others might also take "offense" to said statement.
If someone doesn't like what you said, that person can list reasons why he/she does not like it, and have an actual discussion instead of plainly saying "I take offense to that.".

Re: what sports do you do?
I used to play cricket and soccer (Australian definition) at school. We also played a game we invented called 'Hacky sack cricket', where the hacky sack is thrown by a thrower at a person who kicks it hard into the air. The 'fielders' then try and catch the hacky sack, to get the kicker out. Sort of similar to cricket, but the 'bowler' throws a hacky sack instead of bowling a cricket ball, and the 'batter' kicks a hacky sack instead of batting a cricket ball. (this is a hacky sack.)
I fight MMA.
Is MMA closer to Karate or Wrestling? (forgive my ignorance). Do you just train at a local club, or do you participate in tournaments and contests?
Feel free to PM me anytime if you wish to talk, even if its just to randomly say hello
