As far as punk goes, they're an ok band.

I just honestly hate seeing people naming them an emo band because of Boulevard of Broken Dreams. Just because you put out a said "power ballad" doesn't make you an emo band.

Their older stuff from the 90's is the stuff that I like. More or less stuff from when they weren't part of a major label such as WB Records.

I made a hand made poster of Green day by myself. Its where that picture holds out that heart. I also wrote the tracks on the whole album of American idiot myslef.

American Idiot to me wasn't a bad album, but it certainly wasn't my favorite. I liked them most back in the Punk Revival days of the 1990's.

That's REAL punk which is weird since I'm not much of a punk fan. They just have this element that make them good to me I guess.

Yeah, I don't like that much punk that's actually REAL punk. I'm sick of people calling bands like My Chemical Romance and Fall Out Boy punk, because they're not. -__- I like the older green day and the old AFI, but that's pretty much the only REAL punk that I listen to...

Where have you been all my life. That's EXACTLY the way I feel. MCR and FOB are nothing but scene bands who are worthless and untalented.

MCR was good. I liked their second and first album but I think we can both agree that the Black Parade was a steaming pile of crap.

Meh, TBP was okay, I like their 2nd album best. There were a few songs I love on TBP, I like most of them, but a few were just...bleh.
