Well, I don't know THAT much about them, I just knew them all my life because of my mom. tongue I like other bands besides U2 as well.
Now for their name I'm not so sure, but I thought it was a name of a private plane called "U2."

That's actually a pretty cool name for this band, now that I think about it.
Their style of music somewhat reflects a U-2 spy plane.
