Cream woke up and yawned. She opened the door quietly and went down the stairs. "I'm thirsty." She opened the fridge and poured herself a glass of milk.

Cheese woke up. "Chao?" He didn't know Cheese was downstairs and started to panic. "Chao! Chao!"

Cream ran back up. "Is something wrong Cheese?" Cheese turned towad her and smiled. He hugged her and she hugged him back.

"What is all that rackit!?" Elle asked from downstairs.

"Oh no." Cream whispered. "We have to hide." They ran under Chris's bed.

Meanwhile, at the deep sewers of Station Square, a red echidna wandered around with a russet kangaroo hopping behind him.

"Knuckles mate, you think Sonic and the others are alright? After that Chaos Control happened, we haven't seen their faces since," the kangaroo said.
"Not sure Rick, not sure," Knuckles replied though he didn't want to ponder on that. He had other matters to worry about, like his Master Emerald...

Flame dodged the professer and ran towards the exit. He zoomed through the hallway. All of a sudden, an alarm went off.
Armed soldiers ran from the 2 entrances, holding tranquilizing guns.

Cream and Cheese came out. "Yeah, we're fine." Cream dusted herself off.

Rick was getting frustrated with Knuckles. The red echidna wanted nothing more but silence and the endless walk in the sewers. He knew they were getting nowhere with this and decided to leave the echidna to his thoughts.
