I can sugarcoat the sentence all you want but the meaning is still there. It's not true. It's like if someone says the sky is made of candy, I'm not going to say "I don't believe that". I'm going to say "that's not true at all" because it's not true at all.

belief in werewolves and vampires is insulting in my opinion, it promotes the thinking that "im more special than other people, anyone who doesnt believe in it just isnt as special as me"

but then so do a number of religions , dont try telling me christians dont think they are better than non christians most (not all) christian based religions promote the belief that anyone who doesnt believe in god is going to hell, if thats not insulting then i dont know what is

and atresac is right, we're only telling the truth, everyone posting here is human inside and out, the truth is only insulting if you choose to ignore the fact that it is the truth

if there is a culture that believes people can become animals then i can almost say without doubt that they believe it is possible, not that they themselves are capable of it

kind of like how moses was able to part the red sea, but nobody nowadays believes that they themselves could, they believe it happened (past tense) but not that its is happening now
