Re: Pokemon

I still have my cards, and the famous Charizard people love. Now people will pay about $100 + for that Charizard Ex card. Shame I don't have that one too tongue

Re: Pokemon

I'm only into the games. I have Pokemon Emerald, and I play it a lot. I used to like the cards and the show when I was younger, but the games are a lot better.

Re: Pokemon

I have Pokemon Diamond, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Leaf Green and Pokemon Red. In terms of the game I prefer Diamond, but the series has gotten gradually worse over the years, not because of the new Pokemon, but because they are running out of good ideas!

Re: Pokemon

Honestly I haven't read any of the previous replies, but I will say something as quick as possible.

First off, I'm a fan of the Pokémon in the ground-type egg group... most notably either the cool ones, or the fairy-type egg group -- the cute ones.

Second, adorable-legendaries = win. Seriously.

Third, serpentophilia and reptophilia. Dragons and the serpents are of a signature in my mind.

Fourth, I also play competitive Pokémon battling. Nintendo WFC for you... my Friend Code is in my Trainer Card at the bottom. I DON'T PLAY UBERS OR UNDERUSED, SORRY -- ONLY STANDARDS.

MIND YOU, THOUGH! I have a wide knowledge in competitive battling! Effort Values! Individual Values! Egg Moves! Breaking the Sleep Clause! Countering Hax Items! Destroying ubers! Stat-boosting! And the ultimate wickedness that we call the Taunt-yarados... "You'll be 6-0ed by Gyarados if it gets a Dragon Dance"... is a statement I will never forget. I dwell in the likes of the more competitive play of Pokémon when it comes to battling -- yes, that means I also know all tiers -- OU, UU, BL, Uber, and Limbo. Too bad, Wobbuffet -- you're left alone in the Limbo tier lol...

Re: Pokemon

Do you know of Smogon University (www.smogon.com) by any chance? It's a site for competitive battlers.

Ž · No. I've done research on my own.

Now that I've seen it...

...it frankly stole all my ideas lol... and it can't be the other way around heh...

Well, I've made some really creative builds in mind -- especially my oh-so unexpected Kingdra build which catches many people off guard...

Not to mention my Linoone doing the other dirty work when I'm in desperation though.

But I need a friggin' good counter to Raikou, Tyranitar, and Ice-attacks soon or I'll be falling apart...

Re: Pokemon

If you can get past the "childish" aspect, Pokemon games in general are very intuitive, complex, and fun. I can't believe that you would only look at Pokemon games skin-deep as a result of such blatant ignorance.  D<

Re: Pokemon

Nevermind the cartoons; I'm just saying that Jorn is missing out on a whole lot because he can't get over the fact that Pokemon games aren't mature enough for him. It's rubbish. All one should care about is fun, and Pokemon delivers. Even the cartoons (except for the later seasons IMO).
