Re: Dr. Drake's Dragon Tutoring
A dragon wouldn't be stupid enough to stay there. Besides, if there was a nuke headed their way, they would retreat into caves. You underestimate how strong dragon scales are.

Re: Dr. Drake's Dragon Tutoring
Probably 1453 A.D. The date the Eastern Roman Empire fell. (Byzantine) Dragons felt no other society was worthy enough to see them.

Re: Dr. Drake's Dragon Tutoring
Humans wouldn't understand dragons. They would try and hunt us, and as soon as a dragon killed a human in self defense, we would be regarded as stupid animals that kill at random. Humans would try to put dragons in zoos. After a death, everyone would try to kill us.

I would never! If it would let me near, I would pet it and then leave. And NOT tell anyone about it.

If you attempted to pet the dragon, you'd be missing a hand when you pulled your arms back.
You underestimate the intelligence of dragons.

Re: Dr. Drake's Dragon Tutoring
DragonFireOKN wrote:DFD, stop spamming. I am beginning to dislike the amount of spam that has been ignored over the past few weeks. Anyway,
Scorch- Dragons, contrary to popular belief, are not reptiles at all. Reptiles are cold blooded, Dragons are not. Dragons originated at the beginning of time. They really didn't evolve at all. Dragons turn oxygen into hydrogen and have an organ that creates a spark causes flames to erupt. We then push it through our specially designed throat so it doesn't burn and control the blaze with our tongues.
BY THE WAY, THIS IS A TOPIC WHERE I ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS! NOT FOR PEOPLE TO RANDOMLY FIRE ANSWERS THAT THEY THINK ARE TRUE!!!
Before this question gets asked: Dragons can fly despite our size because our bones are hollow and helium is in a special gland below our stomach that allows us to be lightweight.
1. Turning oxygen into hydrogen is impossible. Take a chemistry class. Elements may form ions and/or bond with other substances to create a compound, but one element cannot be transformed into another.
2. Pure hyrdrogen is too dangerous to be contained in an organ. At the slightest hint of a spark, there would be a very violent combustion reaction which would cause great harm and probably kill the dragon. Try holding a match next to, not touching, a balloon filled with hyrdrogen. See what happens. Do you think any creature would possibly be able to withstand something akin to that, on a much larger scale, occuring in its body? I think not.
3. If there is already hyrdrogen, what in God's name is the helium for? Hydrogen is less dense than helium and air, which means it is better apt to cause something to float. The reasons we don't use hydrogen to fill balloons is this:
A) Much, MUCH too dangerous.
B) The molecules are smaller than helium molecules and, thus, can escape easier.
Please, do us all a favor and look into chemistry.
I took Chemistry for 4 years. As for my comment, that was a mistake on my part. We don't turn it into Hydrogen, it's there already, why I don't know. The inside of a dragon's body is built to defend against an explosion.
Yes hydrogen is dangerous, but humans don't really know what makes up the inside of a dragon. Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's impossible.
Yes the Hydrogen is in pairs in a dragon, I said that.
I never said that the fighting was pointless. I said that humans are violent. The French were defending their territory, they have a right to do that. I'm talking about the agressors. If they didn't fight, there wouldn't be any need for a revolution.
I never said dragons could sing, I said they liked music. Not the stuff like rap or things like that. More like classical European music. The calming sort of music.
Dragons can hear and feel music. I said they can talk telepathically, they can also speak verbally. Dragons don't usually sing. They prefer to listen to other music. Like the music animals make along with human music.
I've played the clarinet for 4 years. I'm first chair in our school and can conduct easily. If I don't understand music then shame on me.

1. Then where is the oxygen necessary for combustion? Without oxygen, the spark would fail to ignite the hydrogen and, thus, the entire reaction would fail.
2. Previously you said there wasn't water because you needed two hydrogen atoms. Which contradicts the statement that the hydrogen is, in fact, in pairs. Make up your mind.
3. The French Revolution was against the monarchy, not an outside country. Get your facts straight. The French were fighting other French people. I believe you are confusing the revolution with the Franco-Prussian war. Besides, there are times when fighting is the only way to get things done. Do you think people could have just went up and asked for the monarchy to give up some of its power? Could Louis-Napoleon have requested that General Bismark, "Would you kindly leave France, as I am not very well at the moment?" Asking nicely and hoping for the best won't always work.
4. Not all classical music is European. While German and Italian may be dominant in opera and other forms of classical music, there are also some beautiful Russian works. Not all classical music is calming either. Some of it is very energetic and powerful. There is more passion in an opera than most other places. If it was all calming and soothing, I would hardly be leaving an opera house over-whelmed and in tears.
5. Do not refer to me as "he". I am most certainly not a man. I am also not a "they", as I am a single person.
6. The reason I don't make an account is because I have better things to do with my time. I have no real interest in joining the site. I came to argue my point, nothing more.
The last time I checked, this was a topic about dragons, not some French Revolution. No offense, but I really don't care about French history.
If you don't want someone to mistake your gender, then join the site and specify your gender. "They" is refering to the dragons, not you.
If you are simply coming to spam my topic, then leave.
Anyway, Dragonz.
A dragon's fire can reach up to 300 feet.
