Worst Level?

when i was little misty bog was my worst level, but now to be honest i think it is the ice caverns as it keeps bumping me off that stupid gnorc. Not often but still it is annoying.

Stone Hill is and will be my least favorite level in a video game ever made in this universe EVER!!!!!!!!

Terrace Village. Not because it was hard - it was one of the easiest levels in the game - but because it was so spectacularly BORING.

I even thought the music was dull. =P

I think Stone Hill basicly summed up STD to be honest as well as all the worlds on the Artisan level.

I gotta say my least favourite is Night Flight, bland, a simple follow a very straightforward course. Certainly the level had potential, but it just didn't quite cut it for me. Crystal Flight was much the same, though at least it had decent music. hmm

Wild Flight and Icy Flight on the other hand did cut it for me, a bit difficult, yes, but I liked that about the two. 'sides, the two had great music.

Metal Head and High caves. Just find them tedious to get through; in high caves there just doesnt seem to be anywhere to go and i dislike the metal theme in metal head! lol.

The Gnasty Gnorc level is the worst. I hate how f***ing fast you have to go in such a dangerous environment. Gnorc is also the most cowardly of all the bosses, which also bugs me. If you don't flame him fast enough, you spend another two minutes running the track.

No doubt, the final level: Gnasty Gnorc is the worst. You must travel for a path very long and if you fall you've to start from the principle. At final you've to be very skillful to get don't fall to the lava when the platforms go disappearing.

My worst level is/was... probably Metalhead.. Actually I didn't prefer the Beast Makers levels anyway, they're all so dark and unhappy.

You really must think I'm dull for saying this, but I seriously love all of it, its my favourite game of all time, you can't get much better than the 1st game, in my opinion, thats why I think they should remake it with the same graphics as DotD, but definitely with Spyro still being a kid. Or maybe they should make a return to game, where he can go back to all the original worlds. My favourite world was probabaly Dream Weavers, it was the most colourful and turquoise, and especially when you make the armoured guys go small, then charge them and they make a "B'daooooooooohhh" Noise. I have that as my ringtone, haha.
As the worst level, personally as a kid i thought the flying levels were really really hard. I suppose Dark Hollow was quite small as a level, really easy. I have the whole soundtrack, definitely the best thing about Spyro was the music, no mistake!

Haunted Towers. I didn't hate it, I just dislike it compared to the other levels.

Tree Tops frustrated me because of one part in it (hint: dragon. Begin frothing now), but my least favorite was Misty Bog. Those freaking frogs. that one hallway to a dragon, the entire place is surrounded by Spyro-eating water and trees.

High Caves, Metalhead and Misty Bog are the levels that usually make me so mad. In Metalhead, has anyone else had the problem of jumping to the ledge across the one that you get to from the whirlwind? Took me ages for some reason, and there's really no real trick to it or anything.

My favorite level has to be Tree Tops. big_smile

The odd thing is that it was only in the most recent times I've done that level that I had the ledge-jumping difficulty. It never seemed to be a problem a few years ago. XD

I agree with that, too. I've never played Ripto's Rage, but Year of the Dragon was one that I found much easier. I think it was because we were able to talk with other characters and they'd tell you how to do certain things. That said, my favorite Spyro game is still the first.

jumping seemed a bit different in Spyro 1 from Spyro 2 and 3, and the way it's programmed in that game seems to make it a bit harder. then there's hovering.

i'm really sorry, but when you mentioned the characters telling you how to do things, all i could think of is in Spyro 2 in the 2nd level (first homeworld) where Hunter gives you great advice such as "PRESS X TO JUMP." and gives you an encyclopedic description of gliding.

XD Nowadays on the first homeworld I just use the time-honored tradition of "ignore what hunter's saying, charge, and jump". 90% of the time I get there with half the effort of actually trying to do it the way the programmers wanted you to. O:)
