don't get me wrong it's great to be called the poet queen but realy i'm not sure i'd go that far

Ooooh thank-you for the mention! I didn't write this poem so I deserve no credit, its just one of the old british folk songs I like! big_smile

One for Sorrow
Two for Joy
Three for a Girl
Four for a Boy
Five for Silver
Six for Gold
Seven for a Secret never to be told
Eight for a Wish
Nine for a Kiss
Ten is a bird not to be missed.

Its a folksong about Magpies. I'm a dummy and salute one on its own so that I don't get bad luck lol (another folklaw). I'm a dillis! I'm not particularly supersticious, I just do it lol. This is the newer version though. The old version is:
Eight for Heaven
Nine for Hell
Ten for the Devil Himself

I guess its because Magpies are scavengers and if you had ten magpies on your land then they would devastate the area. Killing songbirds and eating cops and so on....

My power

My power is in my hand.
My power don't have last stand.
My power is strong.
My power has nothing wrong.

My power is inside me.
My power is my destiny.
My power will stay here.
My power has no fear.

My power is in my mind.
My power helps to stay kind.
My power can face the dangerous limits.
My power stays then good for couple of minutes.

My power releases with darkness and rage.
No one can't stop it, even mage.
My power has to release sometimes.
My power afterwards in my mind flies.

Voice

I want you to hear my voice.
It has a silent noise.
But if you're friend, you will hear it.
The voice is beautiful without limit.

Many voices around us.
All of them have found us.
Voice what tells secret.
And voice what doesn't regret.

Beautiful voice is good for song.
Song what lasts very long.
Clear voice is good for poet.
Because the voice can't be silent.

The voice of darkness scares.
And voice of light dares.
Voice of flame warms.
And voice of ice calms.

Voice of electrisity charges.
Voice of earth emerges.
Voice of convexity, full of bad mood.
But voice of convexity is also good.

Thanks! I noticed that calmness is what inspires me on poetry. I'm today calm and happy because I felt Monarth today again after thinking "I hate this world!"

Song of my heart

I walk on stage.
With calm and without rage.
When my sing will start.
They hear song of my heart.

I sing with joy and skill.
People stay there will.
They listen till end of my song.
And still stand there very long.

The song was so beautiful that I came back.
People wanted to hear again the soundtrack.
Then the song will again start.
And people will hear again the song of my heart.
